I don't know how to set the tax rate on my office depot KS-1795 calculator.

SOURCE: how to set the tax rate

Its easy just type in the tax rate that you want, then hit the rate button. Afterwards leave tax+ pressed and you should see the tax % sign appear above the number you punched in, and THATS IT!!! Easy!!!

Press the c/ac button twice then press and hold the % button for about 3/4 seconds then press the tax+ button the current rate will come up or 0 for not set a rate. Tap in the new rate say 15 followed by % button the new rate is set. To check the rate press the c/ac button twice followed by the tax+ button hope this helps had me stumped a while

2. How to calculate Price-plus-Tax and Price-less-Tax.

(1) How much is Price-plus-Tax of 100?
Press [AC], and input 100 [TAX+].

(2) How much is the Price-less-Tax of 105?
Press [AC], and input 105 [TAX-].

HOW I CAN PROGRAM A NEW SALES TAXES 9.75 ON MY KS-1500


First hit TAX+ then 9.75 then SET then again TAX+.
it will now calculate 9.75% tax.

How do set the tax rate?


As far as I know you can not reprogram this calculator once it is set. You may just need to buy a new one. or just do the math manually
