The exact methodology depends on which program you are using, but each program generally has a method for establishing blocked domains or addresses, or setting junk mail filters, depending on what it is you are trying to eliminate. You should be able to locate these features pretty quickly either through the program's help, or by simply reviewing the menu item choices, and following the steps.

If you need further assistance, please post back with more detail regarding the program and the type email you are trying to block. If this leads to your resolution, thank you for using and rating FixYa!

Block unwanted email

It depends on your mail program, you can set up Junk or Spam mail filters to ban groups or individual mail addresses.
How you do it and whether it is automatic depends on your mail program.
Some like Outlook online will filter out the mail and put it in a junk mail folder for you, rather than in your inbox, but it does not stop you receiving the mail. You have to decide whether to delete it yourself.

I currently have internet access and "E" mail through Verizon via a land line; also have a G-Mail account on my I Pad. How can I eliminate my Verizon "E" mail and continue with G-Mail on my computer

Well...technically you cannot 'eliminate' your Verizon eMail account as that is how Verizon 'recognizes' you as a customer on their site. You have to use that to log into your Verizon account to pay your bill or change your services...etc.

That said, you do not have to keep logging-in to LOOK at your mail. If you are using a pop3 mail-client, (like Outlook, or Outlook Express or Windows Live Mail,) then there ARE steps you should do to 'remove' that account from whichever client you have...or they can be set to keep the mail they have so-far, but not to download any more from that account, it depends on the client, and what your preferences are.

If you only look at your mail using a web-browser and going to verizon's website, then again, you would just stop doing that.

I WANT TO DELETED ALL SPAM THET I GET EVERYDAY

  • Complain to your ISP. If you receive an unrequested and unwanted message, forward it to your ISP. (Your ISP, such as BT Internet or a local operation, provides you Internet access and service.) Ask your access provider to block incoming mail from that address and to complain on your behalf.
  • Use an online blocking service. Check to see what filtering options your access provider or email service may provide to subscribers. America Online, for example, has a preferred mail option (keyword = preferred mail) to protect a user’s account from receiving email from known junk emailers. iVillage also has some filtering services in its email programme. Secondly, look at free online services such as Bright Light Technologies, with screens mail before your read it and promises to eliminate up to 90 per cent of spam without eradicating wanted email.

  • Install a filtering programme. There are dozens on the market. Two that we like are Spambuster, a shareware programme, or PC Spamkiller which has one of the highest ratings on the market.

  • Forward offenders’ names to websites committed to stamping out spam. Two examples are, the Blacklist of Internet Advertisers and SpamCop. Both are US sites, but then the States has a bigger problem with spam than the UK and Europe.
  • Complain to your ISP. To do this first you’ll need to make sure you have the right domain name (whatever follows the @ sign, such as @ivillage.com), since spammers often disguise their domains so nice people like you can’t find them to complain.
  • Visit the SpamCop site’s FAQ for tips on how to find domain names. Once you have the right domain, send complaints to the following standardised address: abuse@ (their domain); postmaster@ (their domain); root@ (their domain); admin@ (their domain).

I have no space at disc c, I done everything from eliminating programs, disck cleaning etc. Only have around 625 mb, I don't have the recovery disc I will like to put it again as it was when new. XP windows...

The reason is that you might installed many unwanted or unused programs.
you have written that you have eliminated the programs. means you deleted them or uninstalled them. deleting the start menu entries will not delete the software. you have to go to start->controlpanel->add or remove programs,
then uninstall the programs which you dont need.
and there is no need to install the windows again.
if you deleted the start menu entries. then also you can uninstall the software by the above method. if that didn't work try to delete carefully the softwares that you don't require in the program files folder.
WARNING: DELETING SYSTEM FILES AND RESOURCES WILL LEAD TO FAILURE OF THE SYSTEM.

    Delete Key

To delete an email there is likely an option for deleting unwanted mails from within the mail program itself. For example in Outlook, you highlight the mail you want to delete and then click the "X" on the toolbar to delete.

    Hi

Pls check if if you have enough free space in the mail box as the sent mails will also be counted towards the size.
Pls delete unwanted mails and also sent mails.
Pls check with the mail server settings i.e. incoming mail server and outgoing mail server information.
