I was having the same problem.
Go to SYSTEM/PLAYER SETTINGS/IDLE SLEEP.
The default setting is 5 min, change to OFF and it seems to work.
When playing a track, press PAUSE and either leave it alone or, LOCK the player and when you UNLOCK the player it should continue were you left off.
Hope it works.

My samsung z400 just keeps restarting and will not turn. i tried pulling the battery and then puttin the battery back in it and then restarting but it keeps restarting over and over what do i do?

There is a high probability that your phone has become wet and moisture has seeped into the inside of the shell. This can happen from splashing liquids on the phone or even from very humid climates. Fill a cup with white rice. Remove your phones battery and place it in the cup overnight. The rice will leech the moisture out of the phone. If it still doesn't work, you may need to see a dealer or contact Samsung.

My creative zen is docked to my computer, but the computer says "no player ... My creative zen is not docked but has DOCKED on the screen and won't turn off ...

Unplug your player.
Look on the left side of it, you should see a small hole, use something thin, paperclips work well, to poke inside it, the restart button is in that hole.
Once it's started up reconnect your player, all should work fine now!

Getting out of recovery mode

The recovery tool mentioned above is not designed for the sleek photo. You need to download the firmware for the sleek photo from creative's site. Now we need to get your player recognized to get the firmware loaded. If you have Windows Media Player 11, it needs to be removed. Also remove WMP runtime. After that, restart the pc and your player should be recognized. You can then double click on the firmware program to run it. It might say something like, this firmaware is already installed...do you want to reload it? Click yes to reload.

I had the same problem with my sleek photo. Once I got rid of WMP and the runtime everything worked like a charm.

2. Connect the power supply to the player.
3. Hold down the Play/Pause button while inserting a paper clip into the Reset hole
underneath your player, beside the data/power connector. Keep on holding the
Play/Pause button while you release the Reset button. The Rescue Mode screen will
then appear.
