Question about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T300 Digital Camera

1 Answer

90% of the time when I turn on, the camera is shaking as if it has the DT's. It is unusable. I can only presume it is something to do with some sort of vibration reduction system that has gone haywire! ?

You are correct. This seems to be a common problem with Sony cameras. They are fixing some of them for free. You need to contact the support section of the Sony website to see if you can be included.

Take it to your local service centre - sounds as if there is a glitch in the electronics. I presume you have followed all the troubleshooting advice in the manual, including performing a reset?

Whirlpool dryer leq8611lw0 shakes violently and makes loud noise

Something must be inside the blower wheel. I cannot imagine why it would shake like that. This dryer has 4 wheels instead of 2 so it oughta be stable. The only thing to do is get inside the machine and see what is causing it. The dryer with a filter inside is also sometimes known as a series 90 dryer. Look for some series 90 dryer videos on youtube. Like this crappy one I made:

Len shaking when snapping

Presumably your images are blurred because of camera shake? What shutter speeds are you using? As a rule of thumb, don't use less than the focal length you are using so if shooting at 60mm, have a shutter speed faster than 1/60th of a second, if shooting at 200mm, make sure shutter speed is more than 1/200 of a second

Everytime i turn on and off my A200(sony DSLR) it shakes and makes noise,, and before it focuses on something it shakes and makes alot of noise?? wahts wrong with it?

It is not your camera, it is your lens, The af lens trying to engage and the gears are grinding. Just for verification go to your nearest camera store and try a different lens on your camera. They will not shake like yours.

Battery go's flat when engine turned off

Charge the battery--then remove the negative battery terminal. Scratch the terminal over the battery post--lots of sparks (everything turned off) mean something is shorting to ground. Remove the alternator heavy wire connection and cover the wire end with a towel or paper to insulate it from ground. Retry the negative battery terminal again as before--no sparks, replace the alternator (shorted diode). If still sparks, reconnect the alternator wire, then check for hidden lights that are on (glove box, under hood light). If still get sparks, start pulling and replacing fuses, while checking for sparks each time a fuse is out. At some point, you should find the fuse that controls whatever the short/load is in.

The camera starts shaking even when the shutter is closed. What could be causing this

How does the camera shake,?
It might be your hands?

You may not be dedscrfibing this clearly enough to get a diagnosis. I am presuming that somehow the display is unsteady, but there would be no display if the lens was closed. Ifr you are lookingb through the viewfinder and experiencing a shake this would not be any mechanical problem within the camera it would be external and an unsteady hand, If you are viewing replays of pics and the display is unstable in this mode then i can accept that therte may be "shake" in the stability of the picture. Steady Shot cameras have a Gyro in them, if this becomes faulty it can cause instability to the handling of the camera. there i have covered the options. If the latter is true and your camera ( no brand or model mentioned) has the shakes then it must be returned to its manufacturer for repair

90% pictures are blurred.

Sopundspretty daft I know but I have been caught out in this way too. If it's a new camera and been blurry all the time make absolutely sure there is no fine protective cover over lens or particularly the screen. Sounds silly but just a faint chance! Good luck. Judging by the number of problems it looks as though it's time to bring back the old style 'proper' cameras, don't you think?

N2000 will not Turn ON

Hi Oskarr900, The corrosion may have eaten away at small wires that are on the springs that hold the battery holder in the camera. Notice those wires go into the plastic camera body. If that has happened the camera will need to go in to Nikon. These cameras are only worth $90 or less so you may want to look into purchasing a used N2000.

Polaroid i834 the camera beeps three times and turns off, then the lens got stuck out

There could be something obstructing the lens. Camera turns off if it can't extend and retract the lens. Turn it downward, try helping the lens in as you turn it on, try blowing compressed air around the lens itself, or if all else fails spraying around the base with a light dusting of CRT cleaner (90% isopropal alcohol spray)
