Question about Lexmark Office Equipment & Supplies
Without knowing more about the type of printer I am going to guess that the contacts are probably dirty they should on a color printer if this is what you have, be on the back of the ink cartridge on a piece of copper foil little bumps in the foil that match up with something similar on the print head carriage use a ink eraser to gently clean off the contacts all of this without power being on of course.you can also use just a tiny bit of isopropyl alcohol on a lint free cloth an wipe the contacts of any dirt if this doesn't do the trick you may have a defective cartridge unless the print head carriage may be physically damaged that would be a bit costly and working day to day with printers this is a pretty common problem.
Try the contacts I am pretty sure this is the answer.
