First unplug your pc, all cords, open the case and find a empty pci express slot for the card.

remove any metal plateing on the caseing so the usb ports fit outside.

Plug the card in, also secure it with a screw.

Thats it!

close your pc plug everything back and your done.

If your pc doesn't have a PCI-EXPRESS slot you will have to take the card back to the shop and replace it to a PCI version.

    here on this image

You can see the ones in the middle the smaller ones are pci-express x1 slots

The ones below the pcie slots are normal PCI slots.

according to dell your pc has the following slots

    2 - PCIe X16, 1 - PCIe X8, 1 - PCIe X1, and 2 - PCI slots

So This usb device will fit and work on your pc.

Remember to accept my solution if you are satifyed. Thanks.

How do i connect FM to a SAA7130 T.V card

The SAA7130HL card does NOT support FM radio. I own this same card. You would have to get either model SAA7133HL or SAA7135HL to receive FM radio. I don't know where you could purchase either one of these cards manufactured by Pinnacle.
I purchased the PCTV Systems model 800i HD Digital and Analog TV + FM radio card so I could capture digital TV signals and listen to FM radio, and I have installed both cards in my computer. Amazon has the 800i card for $63.78 for Win XP and Win 7 systems with a regular PCI slot:
Pinnacle PCTV HD PCI Card 23040
Amazon also has an Asus Digital TV/FM card for $18.99 for Win 7 and Win 8 with a spare PCI - Express slot:

I hope this helps you.

Hi sir, I need help on my pc, i install a usb 2.0 pci to usb card on the mother board but cant get it working, i have on device manager under other devices have an exclamation mark on universal serial...

click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll down universal serial bus controllers you could see a yellow question mark?

right click to reinstall drivers

if you can see your usb drive but its not working

ports(com&lpt)right click update driver if this fails to fix the problem

check the USB leads that attach to the motherboard usually red white green black make sure they are securely seated and have no dust build up on them dust will cause static and a lot of unforeseen problems for a computer and its parts

click start control panel administrive tools ,computer management ,device manager look through all of your devices if you see a yellow question mark?or exclamation mark ! or red x

right click to reinstall drivers

http://download.cnet.com/via-usb-2-0/3000-2098_4-10163319.html
Available in this download are drivers for VIA USB 2.0 host controller on a system running on Windows 98/98SE/Me. Due to licensing agreements, USB 2.0 drivers for Windows 2000/XP are not available for download. They are supplied on CD with new mainboards or available through Windows Update. This version is a bug-fixing release.

hope this helps

I want to install a pci sound card in my acer aspire 1700. Is this possible

Yes you can. You should two expansion slots in that machine that take PCI express cards. I looked on my favorite website, newegg, and found a sound card that should work well in your machine.

Card is not making the connections when inserting

As it turns out, I was unaware of the "express" type slots for express cards. And as it turns out, I have an express slot built into my laptop that I didn't even know existed even though I've had this computer for a couple of years. The media card fits in the express slot just fine with the stabilizer. Now if I can get the card to pick up a signal...any signal besides the "snow and static" channel.

Vista Basic does not recognize HP Express Card

Hi

could you have a look into the device manager - right click on your "my computer" or "computer" which is either on your desktop or in the start menu.

Select Manage from the list.

On the left side you will see Device manager on the list click there.

Now on the right, do you see any Yellow ? marks.

Can you find the card from the list?

If you unplug the card does something dissapear from the list or if you reinsert the card does something come up?
