Waterpump? The blades can erode away from age and old antifreeze. Or not enough airflow thru the radiator. Try blowing through the fins with an airhose to see if it is dirty or plugged.

Who manufactured SCOTT TVs?

The H.H. Scott (or simply "Scott") brand name goes back to the Golden Age of "Tube" High-end Audio Equipment, as early as the late 1940's. They shared prominance with the likes of Marantz, Sherwood, Harmon Kardon, etc. Today, Scott is an independent division of Emerson Corp. who has a Manufacturing Partner in Hong Kong named, "ALFA Tecnologies." ALFA, as the sole licensed user/maker of the Scott brand named products overseas and makes the LCD TV's sold at Radio Shack and other places World Wide. While ALFA make a variety of products with the Scott brand name, they are mostly known for their line of TV's and portable audio gear.

Was the fuse Blown?? check with an ohm meteracross the two prongs that you plug into the wall of course you gotta unplug it for this. It should read around 4 to 10 ohms depending on the type of power transformer is in the unit.. If it reads open then theres a fuse open or a bad power transformer. If its not open check the power supply for the proper voltage from the diagram. Good luck
