try taking every thing out of the fridge turning it off for a day to let it defrost

Sounds like a dirty water valve.

Ice supply line is frozen in the freezer door. Using a hair dryer with the door open you have to thaw the line. This will take time but this will fix.

One of two things. Water solonoid in back defective or water line insideof freezer door is froozen. I just posted a write up about this. Check other response. UJ63

Turn the icemaker off for 15-20 seconds at the rocker switch on the side of the icemaker body (square white box)Turn switch back on and immediately press the feeler arm (white paddle) in and out three time. This should start a test cycle. If still no water after it runs through a test harvest cycle (will take about 4-5 minutes), remove the icemaker and look at the ring finger size plastic tube that allows water flow into the icemaker. It is probably full of ice (because of a plugged filter or some other water supply interruption -possibly while you were changing the filter). If the tube is iced up warm it up gently with a hair dryer being extra careful not to get drops of water in the hair dryer nozzle. Do NOT use too high of a heat setting as that tube will melt... complicating things unnecessarily

sounds like the water tank in back of refrig is freezing up ,,,,, turn temp down and allow 24 hours for it to make adjustments

I had the same problem. Replaced the damper switch and the motherboard. Then noticed the freezer has frosted over behind the panel in the freezer. Defrosted the freezer and all was working again. The same problem came back about 3 months later. This time the problem was diagnosed as the heater has gone bad in the freezer. Now waiting to have this replaced.

its possible that your water tank has frozen up, try turning the refrig off and leave the doors open for about 10-15 mins and try it again. if that works just reset temp controls a little lower..

So your not getting water from the dispenser either??? Yes the water filter can be the source of your problem. Let me know if the water is coming from the dispenser.
