Hi i have a uniden ZO68 i want to add another hand set to this i have brought another uniden ZO68 second hand hand set and i can't set it up can you help me please

did you get the charging base with the hand set
is it a charging base or a base station base
if it is just a charging base , follow the instructions as how to get the base station to recognize the next phone
if it is a base station, probably won't work as you will have 2 base stations trying to work and that will create conflicts
talk with a telephone technician to see what can be done

Display shows "No line"

The base set has to be connected to the land line. It's telling you:
  • No land line connected
  • The land line is not working
  • The base set is connected to a bad land line outlet.

Philips XL375 Duo hands free phones, no dial tone, cannot hear the caller

When they test a line from the exchange, they only test is the line is free and if there is no reflexion of the signal. Only when they com into the house and they test the point here the cable is coming in, then you can be sure the line is working to that point.
Then the only thing you are responsible for is the wires in house.
You can check the line to, by connecting an old phone on the wires coming in you're house. When you hear a dial tone the line should be correct. Then you should be able to setup the phones one by one.
Connect the base station to the mains and the phone line. Then tr to make contact with the handset to the basestation. You even should be capable of setting up a contact between the two phones.
When that works, I still think the line is not connected correct to the base station, or in house your cable has a defect.

Panasonic - DECT 6.0 Plus Expandable Cordless Phone System

Did you connect the base station to a land line or ADSL, and plug it in to the mains?
Did you plug in the line in plug 1/2 and not in 2.
Does the base station blink in any way, when you press a button on the remote?

All three of my phones say no line

The base station isn't seeing a signal from the phone line. Make sure it has power. Make sure that the phone line is connected properlly at both ends. And at my house I'd be checking my phone bill ;-]

It is possible the base station has died on you. If you can try to plug it in to another phone line and see if it works. If it does then your cable or one of the ends is the problem, and if not then it is the base station.

You may have warrenty if so you can get it replaced. If not what you can do is buy just a new base station without the extra phones and then key the extra phone handsets from your current set to work with it. As long as you get the same base model and it says it is expanadable you should be up and running.

Panasonic KX-TGA711E

this sounds like you are either out of range of the base unit or your base station isnt plugged into the mains, ensure you have the base station plugged into the power and the phone line from the wall socket is plugged in, the base station controls all the handsets, if it isnt plugged in they wont work, good luck

The hand-sets are not registered with the base-station. Reset system by: remove batteries, unplug base station, disconnect batteries in all hand sets. Wait 15 minutes. Reinstall batteries in hand sets. Reinstall batteries in base station, plug base station in. Place each hand set in the base station until it automatically registers (usually immediately, or within 1 minute or so).

If that doesn't fix the problem, if possible, return the system to where you bought it for exchange or refund. If that isn't an option, call Thompson help line. They are not particularly knowledgeable, but will authorize a return to the a repair center. The process is slow...

My experience: The two hand sets that came with my system worked perfectly, but none of the three additional handsets I purchased would register. The three additional handsets I purchased were the last three on the my retailer's shelf, so, retail exchange wasn't an option. I contacted Thompson and they authorized return for repair or replacement. The repair center received my handsets on October 29, 2008. Its now November 27, 2008 and I'm still waiting.
