To eject or open the player, press the Optical drive eject button (4) as shown in the attached image:
Then place the disk in the disk tray and close the player by gently pushing in the tray.
Depending upon the contants of the disk, an "Autoplay" menu will pop up on the screen. (see attached image)
Select the appropriate action from the menu to play the disk contents.
To eject the disk, press the Eject button or Right-click on the disk icon in "My Computer" and select Eject.
