Question about Sony PlayStation® 3 (60 GB) Console
Hi try putting in a normal dvd thats not blu ray and see if it then works also try a music cd if it will then play them with no problems then this means you need to get a new blueray drive and if this is the case check if you have any warranty left or go to the ps3 official web site to find out as this fault is covered by warranty.
if your warranty has run out then you will need to find someone who can fit it for you as its not a very easy job to do yourself
if you need further assistance let me know ok
plz rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks

a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

DO NOT SEND TO PSR1!!!! WORST COMPANY EVER! They promise so much but do NOT deliver. I am a real customer who was screwed out of $109. They are horrible. Please warn your friends. Do not let this business keep stealing from gamers, its WRONG!
