Hello, I don't know if there was a problem before the bulb, When I got it there was no bulb...so basically I know nothing about this projector. I was wondering if there would be an adjustment with the settings in the menu.? What would I need to do for the board setting exactly. Thanks

Hello Steve, I took out the lense, everything is clean, while I had the lense out I turned on the projector and looked at the inner square prism and I could see the blue top and bottom, I tried page 40 and did the adjustments it had no effect on the blue. I took a picture of the screen so you could see it, it almost looks dotted... Thanks Gary

Hi, I don't know why Panasonic projectors seem to have this.. It could be heat related or a burn in. It is caused by a long time use maybe more than 3-4 hours of contineous use.

Please call Panasonic to help you solve this issue; here's the link : CLICK HERE

Hi this could be lots of things, a dirty lens, a dirty lamp, or may be its the colour temperature settings, the colour temp as it is known will give a blueish or reddish colour to the white areas, maybe this is the problem, f you have a manual just check page 40, to 41 in the user manual you will find the settings there to adjust the colour temp, obviously do the normal things to, like clean the rear of the lens and the front, make sure you have not accidentally touched the lamp, just rub them over with a dry soft cloth the eliminate any finger marks that could have accidentally been put on them, if you still have problems get back to me and i will see if there is anything else that could be at fault....hope this helps

I am glad you mentioned the prism in fact thanks for the photo this has cleared it up for me, i thought the whole picture had a blue tint, but now i can see this is not the case, this is definitely the prism, either it has become miss aligned at some point and someone has tried to put it back but not very well, or, the prism could have broken altogether i do not want to insult you by explaining the workings of the prism as i gather you know what it does, does the prism have back lights? these could be out of line? unfortunately this will not be an easy fix, as you have to remove allot of stuff to get at the prism to remove it, but to be honest it will cost more to replace the prism than it would do to get a second hand projector...

If the colors seems to be permanent in the picture the possibility off the LCD imager being faulty is high.
So as the color patch is from the start up , it seems to be a failure or burn up on the LCD.
Need to confirm if this happened when the lamp was changed or was it there before the lamp was replaced.
You can remove and care fully check the display and board settings, fix back all connectors on the main board. If there was an absence of colour we could have assumed the processor board but the patch seems most likely with the LCD.
Be very careful and attempt only with proper tools in dust free enviourment. removing and connecting cords and wires must be done with care.

your color calibration may be off. see if you can set the red green and blue settings all to "0" and see if that works. may want to refer to your manual and see how you can do that and also see if there is a auto calibration

if the lamp warning light is flashing, this indicates a defective ballast (lamp power module). if the lamp warning light is lit steadily, then the lamp would be at fault.

sounds like bad cables, or wrong setting on projector you may have it set to compoent instead of composite,, you don't tell how you are hooking it up. (what type of cables you are using)
