The one I have can. Pushing the comfort control button will cycle from cool, to low heat, and then to high heat and then back to cool.

SOURCE: How do I run the tower fan?

Plug it in...push the power botton. If you don't know which that is, hit them all until you feel a cool breeze.

SOURCE: Aloha Breeze Tower Fan Will Not Oscillate

hi,

yes this is the oscillation motor, and they generally arent servicable, and need to be replaced, you can try and oil it, sometimes they have small air vents, and you can do a voltage test with a voltmeter but I believe the motor has failed or is gummed up, you can try and take it apart, they are held together with bent metal compression areas along the circumfrence of the motor, try sewing machine oil, you might have to do some research to find a replacement motor, maybe take it to a local clock shop, those motors are very close to what they used to put in old wall clocks.

good luck

How to dissamble to clean aloha breeze tower fan model 87001

I just used an air air compressor with a soft rubber tip and went at my two tower fans outside. It took maybe 10 minutes shooting air in from many different points but both fans now work as good as new. If it's been a couple of seasons like mine you'll be amazed at how much blows out.

I bought tower fan from a Walmart and no hardware was with it.I bought the fan a year ago and never got around to taking it back and have been using it with pieces balancing. I need to get the hardware,...

The wal-mart customer service dept is very liberal in their return policys. Even though you have waited so long. I would contact a manager at the store and explain what happened to see if they can help. At the very least, they should be able to assist you in contacting the manufacturer to retrive your missing parts.
