Uninstall it and reinstall it. You seem to have spyware that has taken it over and stopped it.
TRY ALL OF THESE THINGS. Sounds stupid but spyware takes many things to stop it. Spyware can do a lot of things and it takes more than one program to catch all of it. Spyware will shut one program down and another program will have to repair what the other one did not catch.

Turn the system restore off. System restore keeps everything in restore. Meaning......... If you have spyware or a virus, it will stay in your system. Run Spybot S&D (This program is free and is better than using msconfig as long as you go through the settings and change everything to the highest settings.) Then do the same with Adaware 2008 (sounds stupid to use 2 things for spyware, but one catches what the other one does not.). I have links on my website (tandnfamilyelectronics-online.com). These links go directly to the download so you will not get the run around. You would do good to try a program called Window Washer (Free window washer download.). This is a great program that completely cleans anything in your computer that you do not need. It will not clean out anything that you have to have. I have used this for years to clean out my customers computers and have cleaned as much as 3 gigs of trash out. If you contact me I will give you some tools that I have for free that will do a great job on your computer. I have them ready to download and I will give you the link. (dean@tandnfamilyelectronics-online.com)

Send me the complete specs of your system and I can help you more. I hope that this helps you. There is no reason the really buy a program for spyware when there are free things to use that work great. Free AVG is a great Antivirus and yes it is also free. It will check your e-mail coming and going. It will also let your friends now that the E-mail does not have a virus. It also has a spyware program that is free. This day and time with all of the spyware out on the net you can never have too many programs for spyware. I would not run all of them at the same time though. Make sure that you do not use your computer during any scan. Defrag is also something to do after you do everything else. Some people will tell you that should not reload your computer. If nothing seems to work then sometimes that is the only good way to get it repaired right. Most of the programs that come pre-installed on a store bought computer is useless and most are even trail software that causes problems when they expire. Let me know if this helps at all. Please rate me if it helps.

Have an E machine on dial up. Went to load AVG, halfway I got a blue screen error,Rebooted and tried to dial out, got an error AC-03120x841008aa. Now it won't dial out. Help.

This is not a solution but will lead to one. I heard that Vista is having problems with AVG and the system not working right. I suggest you look at Microsofts web site and searh that issue.

Not familair with the yaabaa virus/spyware but usually this error is because your av got rid of the infection but didn't clean up the registry entry. So windows tries to load it and can't find the file so shows the error. So AVg killed it but it didn;t clean up afterwards.

Try to down load AVG virus program and it is

It's usually indicative that you either already have an antivirus program installed (anti virus software treats other anti virus software as a virus) or you have a virus. Here are several links. The first is for the free version of AVG 9.0
This link if for a free online anti virus program by Trend Micro Systems called Housecall
I'd recommend a full anti virus scan on Housecall. After which you could either choose to continue to check on a regular basis or for realtime protection, download and install AVG 9.0.
I hope this answers your question. All the Best!

We are a Church and do not have a credit card to enable me to renew Anti Virus Protection online. Is it possible to be billed and pay by cheque?

Do not renew your subscription. I am guessing it is Norton(Symantec) or McAfee, unfortunately both of these once reputable anitivirus applications have become loaded with a lot of intrusive software that eats up system resources and slows your computer down.
Use a free antivirus application like AVG, Avast or NOD32. These free applications are just as good if not better to be honest, than either Norton or McAfee.
Here is a link to download the free version of AVG 8.0.

I am the securities moderator on another forum and AVG is by far the most popular antivirus package.

Computer problem

The only way to get a reliable anti-virus is to purchase. Use the control panel - add/remove and uninstall any avg programs. Then run msconfig - startup and disable any avg program. Reboot. See what happens. Purchase an anti-virus and load that.
