Question about Canon Pixma MP500 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Error 6A00 Pixma mp500, error message 6A00 and continuous flashing 12 times of alarm light, also paper feed light is on. Earlier had a paper jam, but seemed to work for several more jobs. This is a refurbished printer. tengo este error (error de Impresion 6A000) que ago como lo resuelvo que debo de hacer porfavor ayuda

    having same problem, with same error code, paper had jamed, cleared jam and stopped working.

6A00] or Light blinking 12 times = AP position error. It's mean there is an error occurred in the AP motor during purging operation. You may need to replace Sheet feed unit, logic board or purge unit. Thank you

Alarm continues to flash no jams, cords are where


6A00 means the purge assembly is jammed. Look inside to the right where the printhead rests when turned off. Remove any paper scraps. Otherwise you need a new purge unit
QM2-3032-020 around $30 for the part.

I just had the same problem :( I dont have a true fix, but I slid out the cartridge to the left and back in. I read it had to do with a timing mark somewhere. When I powered it back up. It went back to normal
