How do you flash a nokia phone?

  • Connect your device via USB cable and make sure it's turned OFF. Run Phoenix software. Select "NO CONNECTION" as connection type.
  • Click File then select "Open Product"
  • A window will appear, select the device model and the corresponding product code of your phone. To find your product code - Press *#0000# on your dialer while your mobile device is on.
  • Select "Firmware Update" option in "Flashing" menu.
  • Press "..." button on the top-right corner of the window to select the language pack/product code You want to use on your flashing. Click on the product code / language pack that you have selected and press OK button.
  • It will now show the Product code you have selected. Tick the "Dead phone USB flashing".
  • Click on "Refurbish". Then you'll get a pop-up window, follow the instruction. If it did not work, best option is to Disconnect the USB cable from your device. Press and Hold the Power button of your phone for 8 seconds. Once it vibrates, release the Power button and immediately connect the USB back into your phone's port. Then you should see the flashing starts.
  • After some seconds of flashing, it will pause and prompts for the same instructions as above. Do the same trick as mentioned in Step #7.
  • When the update process finished, a window will appear "Firmware updating succeeded". Your phone will automatically restarts when flashing is done. After that, you can safely remove your data cable from your device. In some cases, when using a CFW, it wont says "Firmware updating succeeded" but will just say"Flashing Completed". When that happens, the device screen will show "Local mode" or "Test mode" or inNokia Logo. You can try to turn in off by holding the Power button for 8 seconds untill it reaches the multiple vibration. Then restart your device - most of the time it works after that. But if not, you have to repeat the flashing process again.

My iPhone 5s was damaged when combination lock fell on top of it and cracked the screen. What should I do?

Take to the Apple Store for repair to one of those Mall kiosks that change batteries and also repair cracked screen for $48. They will take it apart and see what is wrong. There are YouTube videos that show how to strip them down, but getting spares from ebay is risky.

Suddenly switched off then just vibrating no display also

Hi Shanavas, it sounds like your phone literally hung up/crashed. Here are some steps to insure it isn't anything more serious. For one let it vibrate until the battery is completely depleted.

Once this has been done you need to plug the phone into a power outlet or best a computer. Then turn the phone on, you should now see the empty battery symbol on your iphone screen.

Let the phone charge up and see if the phone returns to the normal screen. If it hasn't done this and still no screen is visible throughout this whole process then you will need to force the phone into a "restore mode" and will need a computer to restore the phone to manufacturer's settings.

    For this to work you need to have the latest itunes installed (www.itunes.com) as well as an internet connection. Then;

    1. Connect your Phone to your computer via the usb cable
    2. Turn your iPhone off by pressing the power button down until you see "slide to power off".
    3. Now you press and hold the Home button (button at the bottom of the screen) while reconnecting the USB cable to your iPhone. After the iPhone is connected it should turn the phone on.
    4. Continue holding the Home button, you will see the Apple logo appear and then finally a "Connect to iTunes" will be displayed, now is the time to let go of the Home button. iTunes then will say that it has discovered the phone to be in recovery mode and you can restore/recover the phone through itunes. (for this you need to click on the iPhone button in the top right of the windows window and click on the restore button to continue this.)

I hope this helps you. Good luck

My iphone screen is completly black i've tried holding the home and the off button down at the same time and its still not working wtf . i really need help !!

Hi, this happened to me once and I researched a fix by looking for 'iPhone black screen of death'
Here's one of the current articles that comes up under that search:
    1) If an application (such as Safari) is frozen, just press and hold the iPhone's home button for about 5 seconds, or until the home screen shows up. (This didn't work for my iPhone so we had to perform a soft reset).
    2) To perform a soft reset, press and hold the iPhone's Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for several seconds, or until you see the apple logo on the screen. (This action did reset my iPhone and I was very happy at this point). The guys that helped me said that continually performing soft resets can cause problems however.
    3) Hard resets are not recommended, but are required when a soft reset won't do the trick. The Apple Geniuses wouldn't tell me the key combo to perform a hard reset because it restores the iPhone to a state that's unusable. Users risk losing data and you must synch your iPhone with iTunes to make it function after a hard reset.

Also, if you are not turning off apps after use they could be overloading things and might cause it to happen again. to turn off apps do a double tap on the 'Home' button, and all your open apps will be listed along the bottom of the screen. press on one icon and hold until the icons start to wobble and have the X in the top right corner click on these to turn them off. Its also good practice to do this several times a day if you use a lot of apps because having ghem open eats up your battery power.

I forgot the password to open my i phone ,how can i do?

There's really no way to recover the password without wiping the the phone itself. This will erase all the data that is on the phone.

Here are the steps for restoring the phone:

    1. With the iPhone 4 disconnected from your computer, power it off. Press and hold the Power button on the top of the device for a few seconds, then slide the red slider. If this method doesn't work, press and hold the Power and Homebuttons for a few seconds until it goes off.
    2. With the iPhone 4 off, press and hold the Home button while connecting it to the computer you registered it from. It should then power on.
    3. Keep holding the Home button until you see a Connected to iTunes message appear on the screen.
    4. Open iTunes and it should provide a message about an iPhone connected in Recovery Mode.
    5. In iTunes, select the Summary tab and click Restore and follow the prompts.
When the process is finished, your iPhone 4 should be available again without the need for a password.

The button on the top of my iPhone that locks the screen, or shuts it off if you hold it longer, does nothing when I press it. This just happened out of the blue. What do I do???

    Try this:
Hold both HOME BUTTON (the square button under the screen) and the LOCK BUTTON at the same time. Wait for at least 10 seconds or if any thing happens, release them.

If nothing happens I believe you should consult the Apple Store, probably you will get a new phone if you are under warranty.

My computer did not recognize the iphone. Later

good chance that your phone is not a true iphone. I have come across a lot of really really good "clones" out there. I recently bought a "iphone" for $60 cnd dollars and when i plugged it into my laptop nothing happened. Look on your phone for a app that is called u-disk that is a program that will link your phone to your computer and with that you can transfer music and other data to your phone via the usb cable.

The clones from china are almost as good as the real thing but they dont allow you to access the itunes store and i have had the hardest time trying to find any apps that i can load on to the china clone iphone.

    MY iphone won't shut off

Probably the flex cable that connects the button to the mother board is damaged. This part is cheap and easy to install.
You can find the replacement parts here:
