Kenmore 800 Washing Machine starts to full, fills for about 30 seconds, then stops before fill cycle is completed. Same thing happens on the rinse cycle. If you full the machine manually, all other functions work, except for filling

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. To start with check the water inlet valve and try to clean its lint screen. If the water inlet valve is bad you have to replace it, also check the main water line for clogs/obstructions. If still the issue is not resolved then it's the pressure switch that is bad and needs to be replaced. Please accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment with its complete model no# for further assistance.

Thanks

Rylee

Kenmore washing machine will not stop filling

There is a water level sensor in the tube and it might be plugged. IT could also be the load selector or the control module.

Kenmore washing machine model 110 wash cycle stops

DOES IT DO THIS ON EVERY WASH OR SOMETIMES? IF SOMETIMES, CHECK LID SWITCH( THERE'S A LITTLE HOLE WHEN YOU OPEN THE LID, ON THE LID SHOULD HAVE A LITTLE PLASTIC PIECE THAT GOES IN THAT HOLE. THE SWITCH IS UNDER, INSIDE THAT HOLE. YOU CAN GET A PEN OR KEY TO SEE IF IT'S BROKEN.)

The first thing seems to be the timer,or the water level switch. Try filling the washer with water by hand, if it starts to agitate after being filled its the timer, if not it is the water level switch, let me know if you need further assistance.

Shutting down on rinse cycle

Hi this could means that you may need to replace the washing machine bearings. Once the bearings are bad, the motor overheats and it will automatically shut down after the first rinse.
