Generally this problem is because of storage device.

If you have basic knowledge of hardware then feel secure and follow the steps else you can try on your own risk.Don't feel nervous you also can do it easily.

here you go..

  1. firstly unscrew all the screw of your case and see your hard disk.
  2. Then follow the wire that connect from hard disk to motherboard.
(tips, usually there are two wire one is connected to power supply and another to motherboard) see to the below pic ..
  3. carefully unplug and plugin the wire.
  4. run your system. if it works feel your are lucky or else repeat the third step again and again until you get.
(tips. better if you change your wire)
Or you can check whether your hard disk works fine or not. For it you can connect your hard disk to another system and check it. if it works fine then follow the above step else change your device.

last option is to knock the door of computer service. ; )

If you can fix, why pay?
ALL THE BEST.

None responsive computer

When your computer boots up what does the screen show exactly? Does it just stay black? Make sure that the cable from the Monitor is connected first. Then check to see if you don't have a usb device connected because that will cause the computer to hang if it is set to boot usb devices in the bios. If you post what it says I can help you out. You can also try to download a program called a Boot Disk and it can help you repair your MBR on the hard drive.

Will not boot up

So I"m assuming that you're able to boot up off a Windows disc? If that is the situation then your hard drive is bad. That is the reason it is hanging when you first start the computer is that it can't find a bootable device. When you try to install Windows and it can't find a partition is because your hard drive is bad and can't be seen. Need to buy a new one.

When I boot into Windows Vista Premium nothing on screen

In Safe Mode, your monitor will not be listed as it is using a generic device driver for basic display. Go into your video settings and reset it to the lowest resolution available. Reboot the computer into Vista again and your display should be working. If you check Device Manager now, you should see your monitor listed. If it isn't, you will need to load the Vista drivers for it. You can then modify your display settings to suit your preferences.

Building new computer with ASUS M2A motherboard and AMD 749 processor. Computer starts, displays ASUS setup screen, goes to blank screen with blinking cursor and then hangs up.

Try to check connections to hard drive...If OK..then check boot device priority in BIOS and change 1st boot device as Hard drive..Then If not worked then chnage 1st boot device as cd rom and boot from a bootable CD and installl OS..
