How do I determine if the fuse is bad on a Frigidare #FMT118EPB Microwave? Thanks.

Michael, if the fuse is bad, it will take out everything on the microwave. You will not have any lights inside or on your display. You can find the fuse inside of the cover by following where your power cord goes into the unit and following usually the black wire to the fuse. Hope this helps!

665.68601890 Acts as though it is not receiving power but breaker is not thrown. Is there an internal reset. Nothing responds - no lights, fan or microwave. Panel is black and non responsive

ther is on most microwaves a fuse inside usually located behind display panel located in a fuse block or will be on the control board itself.. normally a 20 amp fuse...try that first if not then make sure you have power to control and if so and no display most likely the display control board...
may luck out and be just the fuse though....good luck

RCA Model RMW700 micorwave 1 yr old stopped working. No power, yet the outlet is live. No power to the display, no light inside, just dead. Stopped working when heating cold cup of coffee.

There is a fuse inside the cover of the microwave. You will need to remove the outer shell and follow the power cord you will see an inline fuse. This fuse can be purchased at any appliance parts house.

Hope this helped

Ok, there is an in-line fuse that is located inside the unit on the power supply board. if this fuse is damaged, replace it. If this fuse is ok, replace the entire power supply board.

Sharp R-930AK convection/microwave suddenly died

You need to open the oven (unplugged) by removing the screws along the case. Inside, there is a 20 amp fast blow fuse that you can get at Radio Shack. It looks cylindrical and white. I would test that first. However, replacing the fuse may work, but then, other components may have shorted inside causing the fuse to blow. Try the fuse replacement/test it first. Good luck

Microwave stopped working while cooking. Is there a fuse?

If unit is built-in reove screws holding unit to cabinet.
Slide out about 2 inches to access 3 screws holding grill.
Remove grill to get to two screws holding control panel.
Fuse is behind control panel,
