How do i take picture of the moon

I assume you want a picture of the moon and don't particularly care what the sky looks like.
Consider a full moon. Just what are you taking a picture of? It's a landscape, right? Mountains, craters, etc. All under a bright midday sun without a cloud in the sky (the sky on the moon, not your sky). So what if the moon's a quarter of a million miles away from you, it's under the same sun. Yeah, it's a quarter of a million miles farther from the sun, but given the nearly one hundred million miles between the earth and the sun, the difference is negligible.
There's an old photography rule called the "Sunny-16 Rule." It says that the proper exposure under sunny conditions is f/16 at a shutter speed that is a reciprocal of the film's ISO rating. So, at ISO 200 the proper exposure would be f/16 at 1/200 second (or equivalent, such as f/11 at 1/400 second). You'll have to switch the camera to the Manual exposure mode to do this. Ignore anything the camera's light meter says.
Use this as a starting guideline. Take a picture and review it on the screen. Don't worry about the sky going pure black. You don't want the highlights to get blown out, or the moon will look like a white blob.

Faided picture

If you went from inside to outside and immediately started taking pictures, you may have had condensation on the lens and that will degrade your images. Once the camera cools off, the images should come out fine. One other possibility is lens flare that's caused by having teh sun directly hit your lens when shooting. Hopefully this helps!

After taking pictures with bright colors, image in the viewer blink black/white over brightly lit objects...Help, it's making me crazy!

You're seeing blown-out highlights. These are the portions of your picture that have been so overexposed that they've gone pure white, losing all detail. This is generally considered a bad thing so the camera is warning you about it. But the camera doesn't know what you're taking a picture of, things like the sun reflecting off polished chrome should go pure white, so it's just a warning.

Usually the proper fix is to reduce exposure, bringing back the lost details. This risks losing details in the shadows as they go pure black, but that's generally considered not as bad. After all, we don't expect to see things in the dark.

That was the long answer. The short answer is to press up/down on the multiselector to cycle through the different views of your picture.

The instructions are in the "Copying images and Sound Files" section of the manual (page 109 in my copy). If you need a manual, you can download one at

Hi i have a pentax E30,after taking a picture it says the card block and does not show the picture taken it will also say the is no image

Hi,

Do you know that the SD card has a little switch on its side?
It is a small sliding thing on the other side from the cut out corner.

If this is in the lock position it will stop you saving your pictures to the card. This is to protect pictures that you want to keep.

To save pictures to the card the switch must be in the up position.

Can't view image, and "built in memory full" is displayed

Connect your camera to a computer and offload all the pictures. Then, format the camera's internal memory. If you have a memory card, it's best to use that and only use the internal memory when the card fills up.

SD memory prohibits functioning of Pentax E30

I know that usually, you should format the card for the camera that your going to use. Try formating it in the camera and see if that works. Let me know if I can do anything else for you,

Memory Card Full

Hi, 1.make sure your memory card is not damaged and also formatted by camera ,this is because if card is damaged or not recognized the camera stores image in internal memory which may be full by this time. 2.backup all your data and delete all from internal memory also format the card and try using it. All the best my friend regards sreejith
