Where are fuses located and how to tell if one is blown

Fuses are usually inside on the circuit board. A blown fuse is usually burnt, so it will be visible. If you are not sure, you can remove it at hold it up to a light. You should see a small wire inside the fuse. If it is blown, you will see a break in the wire. Keep in mind, a blown fuse indicates something is wrong. If it blows again, have it tested by a electronic technician.

Vizio vbr133 player . player starts to load disk and then reads no disk. tryed with different disk still reads no disk. error code HON7E

I was getting the same error and I could not get regular dvd or blu ray discs to play either. I dug out my old cd player lens cleaner and put it in and it started playing. I let it clean the lens for a couple minutes and now it is playing my movies again.

I can not get my remote control to work, even with batteries replacement

The remote can be tested---most shops or even electronics stores have a remote tester--point remote at it and press a button and strip on tester either lights up or not.

Also----some digital cameras when remote pointed at lens will show if remote is working(push button (any) on remote with camera on.

Once i opened my beac tv, it automatically turn to standby mode. there is a red light indicator. what seems to be the problem?

Hello,

Your power supply board is dead, u know basic electronics' and soldering? Most of the times, the power supply board just have dead leakages gases capacitors. These capacitors always bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top.Replaced these gases leakages capacitors will get your TV power stable, and work again.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

I hope this will help to solve the problem...

I am purchasing a Coby KTFDVD1093 under the counter (10") television; however, I am concerned as the reviews I am reading online indicate that the user has only one opportunity to auto tune in the...

Hello,

that is not going to be a problem. To those it happened to, the TV has a fault that is why. It is not that it happens to all Coby KTFDVD1093.

Electronics in general does not have 100% assurance.

There is nothing to worry about, you can go ahead and purchase your Coby KTFDVD1093.

I hope the above is clear. If not, please let me know.

Regards.

SEVERE VERTICAL DEFLECTION FOLDOVER Only a narrow horizontal stripe about 1'' high appears on the screen

Hello sneakjock,

This is a problem with the vertical output signal. Check the vertical coupling capacitor, the vertical output between the yoke transformer and the vertical output transistor amplifier or (IC output). My odds are on the coupling capacitor being bad.

You will need a schematic diagram and an oscilloscope to check this problem. If you have a background in electronics you will have no problem solving this problem, however if you do not have a background in electronics, I would suggest getting a qualified TV repair technician to do the work on your TV set.

I hope this helps,

Thank you,

Hard to get dvd player to work

How old is the set? As the player's laser ages it becomes harder for it to read discs. Audio CD's don't have as much data and are formatted differently from DVD's so they are easier to read. This is one possible cause. Hope this helps!

GE spacemaker color television AM-FM radio

This is easily reparable by an electronics technician. AND is definitely worth fixing if you use the unit because they simply do not build this type of quality in newer models.
