You can download the Lexmark X3350 driver by visiting the Lexmark website at http://bit.ly/ffZS77. Select your operating system -> download the driver -> execute the file -> follow the instructions on your computer screen.
Maybe the scan software is not installed yet. The Lexmark scan software can only be installed using the installation cd that came with the printer. It's not available for download online since it's a big file. If you don't have the cd or you lost it, I suggest you contact Lexmark Technical Support for assistance.

Hi. This printer is wireless for the print function but not for the scan function, go figure. In order to scan you must hook up the printer to your puter via a USB wire.
Alot of the X3350 all in ones have there scanners go bad if you still have a warranty for this printer then call Lexmark if not then you can go out and buy one for like $85.
Yes. It will scan whatever you want it to. Anything put on the glass will be scanned into your computer, or copied and printed back out.
For pictures, it can save them as standard picture files on your computer. For text based documents, there is a OCR text recognition that will convert your text into an editable format. Consult your program guide for more info on how to do this.
