CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON AT START UP AND IDLE. NO ROUGH IDLE NO SYMPTOMS?????

Have you pulled the error codes?

1- Turn Ignition switch to OFF & Run/Stop switch is to Run.
2- Push odometer reset button in & hold.
3- Turn ignition switch to Ignition and release odometer reset button. Background lighting sould illuminate, speedometer needle should sweep its full range and indicator lamps (battery, security, low fuel, check engine and cruise) should illuminate. The word "diag" should then appear.
4 - Push the odometer reset button once and you will see the selection menu "PSSPt" with the first P flashing.
5 - Each letter represents an area of the diagnostics module. The module that is flashing is the one you are going to check. To move from one letter (module) to the next, you push the odometer reset button one time. (from P to S to SP to t and back to P, etc.)
P = ECM/ICM (Electronic Control Module [EFI] / Ignition Control Module [Carbureted])
S = TSM/TSSM (Turn Signal/ Turn Signal Security Module)
SP = speedometer
T = tachometer
6 - To get the DTC within an area of diagnostics, push and hold the odometer reset button in for 5 seconds and release. If there are any DTC's the code will be displayed or the word "none" will appear if there are no DTC's. Push the odometer reset button again to view additional codes if they exist.
7 - Record the codes.
8 - If DTC's are not to be cleared, Press and release the odometer reset button. Part number of module will be displayed.
NOTE: To determine if a code is current or historic, clear the displayed code by pushing in and holding the odometer reset button ( longer than 5 seconds) until 'clear' comes up. Release the odometer reset button. Turn OFF the ignition switch. Run your bike and shut it down then recheck the DTC's again by repeating steps 1 to 9. If the code is current it will reappear.
9 - Press and release the odometer reset button to continue to the next module.
10 - Turn Ignition switch to OFF.

What do the codes mean?

My phone showing a message push to talk is off.switch on now.but i got hang.please help me

Might your push to talk or PTT button had stuck up or the switch itself,if this feature is not activated in your country,better remove the switch if it is not working anymore,resoldering the 4 terminal of that switch and detaching it will solve the problem, message will no longer appear on screen as well it will not hang anymore that affects the other keys,if you can provide replacement,much better.remove front cover and unscrew 2 screw on the top,release the side clips of the keypad board located at the back housing,now unsrew 2 screw at the bottom,lift up the entire module and start working on the ptt switch. Otherwise, bring it to a service center to fix this problem.

My motorola l6 when i switch on it shows ptt services off and all switches are locked how can i switch on the ptt services on ?

It means the PTT switch button gets stack or damage that's why other keys are not working.

If this PTT switch is useful for you, you need to consult a mobile service shop near you for a switch replacement. BUT

If this is not helpful, you can remove it by yourself. just follow this procedure.
(You need a T6 precision screw driver or any tool that can release the screw and a soldering iron to remove the ptt switch)

1. remove the battery cover and the battery pack.

2. release the 4 screws located at the upper portion at the back.

3. remove the plate cover.

4. there are 2 flex connector at the top which lcd is connected and at the bottom which keypad/simcard is also attached. Also the anthenna and the camera is insert prior on the location.
Release them with care.

5. lift up the entire board module.

6. locate where the PTT switch is attach (right side when facing the front phone) then remove it with care by using a soldering iron until the 4 connector of the ptt switch is remove.

7. now assemble the phone and be guide with the pattern on how it was dismantle.

Now check it if other keys is working now, please reply if there is still a problem

good luck... and thank you for visiting Fixya.

Transmission problem

Hi,

A couple of things you can try:
1. Use electronic contact cleaner (spray type) on the PTT switch;
2. Use an external speaker/microphone and/or handsfree VOX headset
3. Replace the PTT switch. 4 solder points. Might not be easy but doable.

The last would require that you remove the defective PTT switch and use that as per sample when looking for replacement. Some printers uses the same type of switch. Familiarity with electronic components/circuitry, use of a DVM and a soldering iron would also be required.

Hope this be of some idea/help. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.
