    Car Radio Serial No.: DFL23004744

    Car Make : Honda

    Type: Accord

    Year : 2004

It is a bit more complicated than this.

A friend assisted in buying this car from an auction in New Jersey and was shipped to me.

The Honda dealers in town claim they do not deal with 'American Specs' car and would not help me.

I have been driving the car for over 4 weeks without the radio working.

The code is quite needed to complement the driving experience

  • BTEMI Jun 02, 2008

I have checked everywhere, the code is not in the car.

The only clue I have is the Radio serial number.

Open your glove box and look on one of the side panels. Your radio code should be there.

BTEMI, if your radio code is nowhere to be found, then you will have to go the dealer and hopefully they won't charge you.

In my 04 Accord, the radio code is on a sticker in my glovebox and on my driver's B pillar.

Here's another spot to try: in the trunk (on the brace arm left side). Good luck!

Replaced battery now I can't get into the navigation or radio. Says I need a pin. I bought car used.

Call your local Honda Dealership and talk to the service department. I think that they can take your VIN# and the model number off of your radio (may require you removing the radio) and then I think that the unlock code can be retrieved. The may also ask you to prove ownership.

Hope this helps.

Radio code required.

The better solution is right in your glove compartment. On the inside of the blove box door you should find a small white sticker, usually near the left side. The sticker will have two sets of numbers.

The number set with five digits is your radio reset code.

Serial code on stereo

If you are needing the Radio Code because the radio is asking you for "Code" then for your year of car you should be able to take the serial number off of your registration or from the dash or drivers side b pillar sticker and a dealership can run the "VEHICLE" serial number and should be able to give you the radio code to get the radio to work again. No radio removal required.

Hi my 1996 Honda accord radio need a code to play can anyone tell me that code and how to use it.

copy the vin number and call the local dealer - also ask for any recalls --- then also ask for the code - if the radio came with the car they should give it to u in person or on the phone - if the radio didn't come with the car -well that will require taking the radio to a honda dealer and going from there -

I bought second hand imported Volvo car to Nigeria but the radio/CD require code. The radio is manufactured by Mitsubishi Eletric S/No. V01610Y9181186H Please help me to decode this radio/CD

The only way to get this code is to bring it to a dealer and they can usually put the code in for free. You can try calling but bringing it in has the best chance of getting the code.
