If you are looking to update your BIOS then you can obtain the latest version from Dell. There should also be a step by step guide on how to correctly perform the upgrade. However, unless there is a real need to upgrade your BIOS then you should not have to do this. I have worked on and custom built several PC's and have never had to update the BIOS.

Hardware manufacturer of optiplex GX 620 audio controller

You can download the audio and device drivers from Dell WEB site, the support download page. Make sure you select your model desktop or laptop, better still, type in the Service Tag number, it is printed on the label on thebottom of the laptop and on the back or sides of a desktop. (If the Service Taglabel is missing then go into the BIOS setting and on one of the BIOS pages, the Service Tag number will be displayed). This will open the page where thespecific drivers for your model computer are located. Also make sure you selectthe Windows of the drivers for your Windows operating system. Please see that the connectors on the PC, check if there is loose connect on the board. Also if the bios battery is low on voltage- check with a multimeter.
Finally the memory card can also have a loose connection on the slot, remove and reset or try with another card.
