The game files are in the Program Files folder of your C drive. You can actually perform a file search from File Explore. However, if you are talking about your saved games, then those will be in your User folder in some location depending on which Windows Operating System you have installed.
please try to describe at which step do the problems occur. You have inserted the sims 3 dvd and then there should come some SIMS start screen. If not, you can navigate to your dvd on your computer by clicking on START > My Computer > "Sims.." Of course it wont have to do with your graphics card. First you have to install the game according to the instructions on the screen and then you will be able to play it. Try to initiated the first few steps mentioned above and reply..
The Sims is an excellent game.!
But its a bit demanding.
Make sure your computer complies with the minimum hardware requirements like memory, video card, etc.
Also check for damages on DVD media like scratches or finger prints in the surface.

sims2 has a problem with some cd burning software installed on your pc and a program called dvd ram. It is a good idea to update your directx to the newest out there. finally when you do get it installed you will need to go to ea website and dowload any patches this will make it compatible to vista
First you need to see if the computer reconizes the reader, to do this you double click on the computer icon on your desktop, then look to see if there are any drives other than your hard drive and cd roms. If the computer does not see the reader then you may need to download drivers. As to how to get the drivers it depends on your setup if the reader was installed in the computer when you bought it then you will want to go to the computer manfactuer website, if you bought the reader seperatly then you should have recived a disk with it if not go to the website of the card reader manfactuer.
