Erm, this is kinda of open to debate actually. It all depends on what program you use to download your pictures. To my knowledge, programs like adobe photoshop and album would automatically segregate all photo's into "albums" by date. Other programs like Nero and even MS Office Picture manager might mimic this method. Since this si a MICRO SD card, another possibility is that you might be using a nokia software for downloading these photo's from phone to computer, and since that also functions like most image editors / viewrs, it will also the similar nature of segregation.

What i would suggest is that, if you DO want free from allocation, the best method would be to drag and drop the images into a file that you would create on the computer youself. This gives you total governance on your activites. Please do feel free to ask me again if there is anything you are not sure of, and i will do my best to help you out. Thanks.

Compaq presario S3190UK wont start, it beeps

That beep usually means a hardware problem. Try first unplugging every external hardware, like printer, keyboard, mouse, external hard drives, etc. Try powering on, if you get the same result DISCONNECT THE POWER CABLE, and try opening the computer and removing the RAM Memory modules one by one, try powering it on after removing each, if you removed all and still get the same beeps put them all back in and you may need to try the internal additional hardware such as PCI/PCIe cards (Non-integrated network card, non-integrated video cards, etc.). If all of this fails take it to a certified technician as you may have a main-board issue. DO NOT REMOVE OR ADD COMPONENTS WITHOUT FIRST UNPLUGGING THE POWER CORD.

How do I upload pictures from my Samsung Strive onto my Gateway laptop comuter.

1. Purchase a micro-SD card with an adapter for a normal-sized SD card.2. Plug in the micro-SD card to the back of the phone. Make sure the power is off when you do this, of you could unintentionally harm your phone.3. Power back on, and transfer the pictures to the micro-SD card.4. Shut the phone back off and remove the card again. Place it into the adapter.
If your Gateway laptop has a SD card reader:
5. Put the adapter into there.6. Transfer the pictures to you computer. Done!
If your laptop doesn't have a SD card reader:
5. You'll need to purchase a second adapter that adapts the regular-sized SD card to a USB port.6. Following the manufacturer's instructions, put the SD card into the second adapter.7. Transfer the pictures to your computer. Done!

Best of luck, Juseppi

I need to know whether the ethernet card for the Optiplex GX 240 is integrated in the motherboard or it is a card in itself. Thank you.

Pretty much every computer built within the last 5 years has built on network interface. However, to answer your question completely - look at the back of the computer where the network cable plugs in? Is it clustered around the video/sound, power, printer, usb, etc (integrated in); or is it located elsewhere (perhaps in the series of long narrow rectangular openings openings where the expansion cards go - separate).

Hope this helps.

Reinstalled xp now I can't get on the internet. Network adapter did not install

Is your network adapter built onto the motherboard or is it a separate card?
If it is built in, with a little research, you can identify the model of the motherboard in the computer and download the latest drivers from the motherboard manufacturer. If it is a separate card, you can install the drivers again from the CD that came with the card or visit the card manufacturers website to download drivers there.

Desktop connection is completely fail.

Try uninstalling the driver from both your Device Manager & from Add & Remove Programs (Programs & Features), Reboot your computer and reinstall the driver with the original program\driver disk that came with your wireless adapter. If this doesn't work, then it's likely that your wireless card is on it's way to the grave. Have you had the same security setting the entire time or did you recently change it?

In my dell studio 15, there is a sim card slot at the battery compartment. what is the function of it?

That slot is an ExpressCard Slot for WWAN cards that require a sim card in order to connect to the provider's network. Not all WWAN cards require sim cards to connect. If you get an ExpressCard WWAN card, and that card requires a sim to connect, then usually there will be a place on the card itself to put the sim. The sim slot in the battery bay is because most mini-cards do not have room to add the required sim card slot and still fit into the system.

HELP WITH CNECTION

Only if you've got an HDMI output on your computer. Some computers with higher quality video cards, or just newer ones will have a DVI output for a monitor. You can get a DVI to HDMI cable that will then be able to connect the two.

As others have said, if you have a video card with DVI output, you can get the video to the TV using a DVI to HDMI cable.

But no one mentioned anything about audio. DVI can not carry audio, so you'll need to send audio from the computer to the TV (or receiver). Some TVs have audio inputs associated to one (or more) HDMI ports for use with devices that have DVI, but not HDMI. My Sharp LCD has two HDMI ports, one with separate audio inputs, one without.

Computer cant detect device

Try going to add hardware. Then select yes, the hardware is installed. When it gives you the list of installed devices, go to the bottom and select add new hardware device. After that select the advanced option to select "install the hardware I manually select from a list". On the next page, select network adapters. Then click "have disk" you will now have to put your driver in a folder(usually on the desktop). After you select have disk you will browse for the folder which has the driver. Make sure your driver has a file that has the extension ".inf" as this is needed to install the driver.
Hope this helps
