Question about Xerox Phaser 8560DN Laser Printer

Xerox 8560 Error 09.037.45:8982

My mahine gives this error and i dont know waht is it. Can you help me ???

    used generic (cheaper) yellow ink and it's jammed in the chute and we can't get it out....

Don't believe any of the misinformation about Xerox 8560 , 8570 , 8870 inks not loading or being rejected at the at the ink loader gateway. There is a very simple solution to getting the printer to accept any and all ink no matter if it is from another region or starter pack. There is a plastic pin that pops up at the bottom of the ink loader when you begin to drop or place the ink down into it - you can easily circumvent this. If/When the pin pops up (or it just stays up), you us a small magnet and place it down the right side of the loader (move it back and forth until you find the sweetspot) and you will hear a loud click and the pin for that specific loader will release and drop down. Now here is the trick-before the pin pops up again, use your finger from your other hand to hold the pin down, then use your other hand (as the magnet is no longer needed because your holding the pin down) and grab the appropriate ink cube and quickly place it in the loader while pulling your finger out and slide it down the channel . The pin usually moves up very slowly giving enough time to do this-if it doesn't, just repeat the process. Or instead of using your finger to hold the pin down, get a pencil with eraser on the end or small spatula (something thin enough) so you can hold the pin down from within the channel-way. That way nothing(meaning your finger) will get in the way of putting the ink cube into the loading space.
Never believe what the manufacturer tells you-I've been doing this with my 8570 and have no problems.

That is a yellow ink stick fault.
Most likely one of the yellow sticks did not advance properly, or one is cracked or simply in a bit crooked.
If you used sticks from another model number, they would not have the right grooves in them to make the switch on the ink loader.

  1. Open and close the Top Cover to resolve the problem.
  2. If the problem persists, arrange the ink sticks until there are no spaces between sticks of the same color.
  3. Check for non 8560 ink sticks jammed in the ink load chutes. If non 8560 ink sticks, whether manufactured by Xerox or by a non-Xerox ink vendor, caused the ink sick jam, contact support to place a service call.

8,035.42: The Media Drive stalled while moving the cap/wipe Up.
Usual cause of these codes is a broken drive assembly or a broken mounting base of the motor or the wiper is stacked.

Manually verify that the ink stick is able to advance in the ink loader chute. Check for broken or wrong type ink cubes.

Are there obstructions or spilled ink on the Wiper Blade, the Head Tilt Gear drive path, or under the Printhead?

Is the Waste Tray overfilled?

Clean the inside of the printer and retest

That error signifies a problem with the printhead tilt, you need to replace the Process motor camshaft pivot kit, part number 8560-Z2.

On the 8560, what does the error code 07,010.43:14070 mean??


Hi,
In the Xerox support website that error indicates that the printer needs to be turned off and call for xerox assistance. Does not specify the problem.

Although, this website refers to this problem.

Xerox 8560 died after installing new maintenance kit.


The error is caused by the printhead not being able to tilt, the maintenance kit (oil roller) is driven round by the drum and has no physical connection to the tilt mechanism. Having said that I did once have a machine that had waste wax loose in the machine and when the customer replaced the maintenance kit the loose wax was pushed into the tilt drive gears which are located on the inside frame left hand side, right behind the oil roller. The wax jams the gears making a noise like a machine gun and tilt error 07,010 was the result.

Phaser 8560 error code


Most likely you are using generic ink or ink not made for that specific machine. The black ink is the one causing the problem. the printer will then need to be reset.
