Question about HP PSC 2210 All-In-One InkJet Printer

1 Answer

Photo card I borrowed my son's friend's photo card to copy her prom pictures onto my PC. It worked just fine. I copied them to a folder and gave her back her card. When she tried to take a picture again, it told her she couldn't because it was protected. How did this happen and can it be reversed. I feel badly because I didn't intentionally do anything except copy her photos.

There is a lock on the top corner of the card......slide the lock to the opposite direction and it will work fine.

Cant upload pictures from my printer/camera to my computer

If your photos and videos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos and to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.

Need the drivers for a lexmark P6250 for a friend that doesn't have internet. Can I save it to a disk?

Hi, go to "" & find the driver for the printer. Then download it to your own pc. make sure you identify the folder where the download gets saved. you should be able to copy the file from that folder to either a USB stick or an SD card or burn it onto a CD/DVD. then you can put the media into any other machine & copy the file to a hard drive directory. Hope this helps

I insert my camera memory card into my 5300, and it says there is no photos on the card, but when i put the card in the camera, the pictures are there.

I plug my camera into the computer and copy the pictures onto my hard drive and flash drives. Then I can use whatever program I like to edit, download, print ect. I have found that photo printers are pretty finicky.

How do i transfer photos from my samsung L100 camera on my laptop???

If you have a USB cable, connect to your camera and then connect it to the computer's USB port. the computer should see the camera as a storage device. You can then open the folders on the camera and copy the photos to a folder in your computer.
Some cameras need a program installed on the computer so you can download the photos.
The other way of downloading photos - remove the memory card from the camera and plug it into an USB memory card reader and then connect this to the USB port on the computer. The computer will see this as an external storage device, then open the folders on the memory card and copy the photos to a folder in the computer.

Once I insert a camera memory chip in to the Printer, how do I upload the photos to my computer?

Assuming you have a PC, insert the card into the printer, then open up "My Computer". There should be a drive letter there that wasn't there before, probably F:, but maybe G: or H:. Open this drive and locate the photos. You may have to open a couple more folders in that folder depending on the camera brand that was used to take the pictures. Then create a folder on the desktop and name it, and drag and drop the photos into this new folder. When finished, Simply drag the new folder and place it where you want it. This is all assuming that a dialog box doesn't come up when you insert the card asking you what you want to do with the pictures. When you insert the card, wait a second and see if a box opens asking you what you want to do with them, and then follow the instructions. Let me know if you need more info.

My sony picture station is not reading my SD card. What could be the problem?

There must be some problem between the card and the card reader. What I suggest is that you must read the card in the PC or laptop and if read then copy all data there. Then insert this card into the picture station and format the card there. Then you can copy all data from the PC/laptop to this card and take it to the picture station. it will be read without any problems.

Cannot copy photos from my SD card

If the printer is connected to your PC with the USB cable then as soon as you insert the SD card in the slot it acts as a drive. Open up "My Computer" and search for the new drive (e.g. E: or I:). You can explore the SD card as you would with your hard drive and you can copy the photos on the SD card to your computer as you would normally copy files.

I have a hp photosmart 6100 series. I need to scan to email. How do i do this? Thank you, Sarah

I have a new all-in-one. the way I do it may not be the most efficient but it works. I use Adobe Photoshop Starter Album 3.2 (Free).
Use the "File" tab to "get photos from scanner". It makes a copy in the "my pictures" folder under Adobe>scanned photos sub-folders.
Just find your picture, right click, select "send to">mail recipients and away you go.
You can also use the "share" option on the Photoshop toolbar and it places a copy of the item in the "outgoing email attachments" folder in your "my pictures" folder.

Hope this helps
