Have a wiring harness for your vehicle if not get one and have a dash kit that fits your vehicle now plug the new harness into the plug that came from your stock radio now match all the wires from the stereo to the harness twist and tape if you can't solder also may need an antenna adapter to fit your new stereo all wires should be labeled and it's ok if there are a couple you don't use
if it is bigger than the original deck it will not fit if it is smaller there are car audio inserts sold at walmart and electronic stores that makes it fit just like the factory one

The Panasonic is a standard single-din receiver and should fit your Civic OK. You can probably get a vehicle-specific dash kit which will include the mounting collar and trim ring. Try this site.
