If the video card is part of the motherboard then you may be able to increase the video RAM in the BIOS configuration, but this will also reduce the main memory by the same amount.
The other option is to purchase a video card with plenty of video RAM and install it in the AGP slot on the motherboard.

How can i play GTA vice city without a graphic card or even when the video memory is low

You simply cant. If your graphics card isn't up to par to play vice city its probably very old or nonexistant. Only thing you can do is upgrade your video card (to play vice city the cost would be very inespensive). The requirements for a graphics card in order to play just this game shouldnt have to be any larger than 256 mb. If you have anymore questions you can just shoot me a message. Sean

When you bought it the processor and the memory were a step down compared to the video card. Now, they are all completely outdated - some modern game will not run at all the others will run only at the lowest settings and even then at miserable resolutions and refresh rates.
You need a new pc, from scratch.

in VGA is fully incompatible with that game ( most of games).
32mb is very low memory for a VGA nowadays.

Lags in games.

Hi. Try lowering the video settings on that game, because usually for this game you should have at least a 256mb graphic card and 1GB of RAM or memory. Just make put it on the video settings on the lowest settings posible like 640X480 and also try turning off some video enhancement on that game, if you still having some lagging problem then consider upgrading your graphics card and memory. Hope This Helps

GEFORCE FX 5500 video quality low, slow motion videos and games

well if your trying to game on a pc the 5500 isnt quite sufficient. If you dont know about nvidia you are about 5 generations back of days cards. So the card wont handle any of todays games. If your really trying to game i suggest you build/buy a new rig. But as far as playing videos, quality should be good. Try goin to nvidia.com and downloading the newest drivers.

Slow Graphic Acceleration

i play WoW and i recommend you get at least 2Gig memory and with that card you need to run the game in low settings. The 5200 series card is not high end gaming card. If you have pci express slot i highly recommend a 9600GT. But first upgrade to 2Gig RAM

Slow graphics in gaming

You're video hardware starved! For these games (and most i-net games, as well as higher end games), you *must* have a meaty video card! An integrated, on-board video card on the motherboard just will not cut it. Buy the most amt of memory ON the card as you can afford. V-cards are expensive - but expensive for a reason! Try one out - you won't be disappointed.

Im out of video card, i got low memory, i dont know if video card are missing or graphics card.. im out of graphics everytime i played games..

You most likely need to upgrade your Video Card to a Card that has more RAM... Find out if *********** Board has AGP or PCI-Express slot, hopefully you don't just have PCI slots, but chances are if you are on a Desktop you can upgrade your Video Card.

hi im wesley. ok your graphics card might be to slow im guessing its a 256 mb card witch you will see most of the latest games now require 512 mb cards to work properly, but go into the game and set all the graphics to the lowest and if it works increase it a little at a time until it starts with problems then go a little lower and play it like that. your problem normally happens when your refresh rate is to hight your anti-aliasing is to high and your memory is to slow.

Does your machine meet the games minimum requirements?
If so have you tried turning the graphics down in your game interface?
Laptop Graphics cards usually use your systems memory so they have a harder time rendering complex graphics. I play WoW and have my graphics turned up on my desktop but have them turned down to minimal for my laptop.

Vista also takes allot of system memory thus leaving less for your video card. If you are going to play games on it on a regular basis I would suggest you have a minimum of 2GIGs of memory.
