Sounds like a bad Power Supply. Weak voltage power rail. 1) ALL of the LED lights combined use less than 1 Watt of power. 2) EACH fan uses 2 to 3 Watts. 3) A typical Processor can use 51 to 125 Watts. Depends on what Processor it is. Acer Aspire T180? Can come with an AMD Athlon 64 X2, or Athlon 64, or Sempron. Enough power to light LED lights, and maybe spin fans, but Not enough power to turn the Processor on. No Processor operating, No computer. No computer operating, No video signal to the monitor.

mr farhanpk, When very strange stuff starts to appear on the screen of any older model ccfl -back-lit lcd display I would certainly suspect and investigate the monitors ac to dc internal power supply for BAD, SWOLLEN, LEAKY electrolytic filter capacitors. Check your pc with a "known-good" monitor to make certain it is not the pc causing the problem. 12fixlouie

DISPLAY NOT SHOW

Is the monitor light indicator flashing? if it so then kindly check the video cable connector and make sure it is firmly plug into the video port of the computer.

Did you hear some series of beeps coming from your computer? If it so then this indicates a hardware failure. Kindly reset the main memory card on the motherboard and also the dedicated video card if there is any.

Good Luck.

Thanks for reaching FIXYA.

Display problam

  1. Make sure that the monitor is turned on and has power. Make sure that the display's power cord is plugged into a working wall outlet, and that it's properly connected to the power adapter. (To check if the wall socket is working, plug in a lamp or other electrical device.)
  2. Check that all video cable connections to the computer video port and to the monitor are properly connected.
  3. Examine the pins on the video cable connector to make sure they are not bent or damaged in any way.
  4. Connect a known working display (if you have an extra one available). If you see video after doing so, replace your old display.
  5. Unplug the video cable and then turn on the monitor, check any message is showing in monitor if its shown means ur monitor is ok or else their is a problem in monitor..
  6. turn off the system and check the ram..
  7. Reset the computer...
