Paper jam My HP PSC 1210 a-i-o is flashing a light indicating that there is a paper jam, there is not one. I can not seem to reset it or do anythign to get rid of the blinking light and get the printer to work. Any suggestions? I have check the cartriges and they seem fine. The cartrige carriage however stays to the left of the printer and does not move. When unplugged it does move freely???

What does it means when the check paper light on a HP PSC 1210 All-In-One printer stays on even though there is plenty paper in printer?

most probably there's still a bug, insect or just a small piece of anything caught between the roller or wheel after you cleared a paper jam otherwise a spring, hook tension-er across the roller is not in-place.

OK, it sounds like a defective printer that needs to be reset.
Unplug the power to it and replug the power back in to see if it stops doing this.

Paper jam that isn't

You could try a partial reset of the printer
Unplug the power cord
Reconnect power cord
When lights are flashing, press & hold On/Resume and PaperSize buttons
When only the On/Resume light is flashing, release both buttons
When On/Resume light is steady, reset is completed

Print cradle cannot move error

hi,

this seems to be a hardware problem..... anyway try this...

> unplug the powerchord
> open the rear access door, and check whether there is any paper jammed or any bit of paper or thread stuck inside.... if so remove it
> clean the rollers using a lint free cloth
> close the rear access door
> open the door so that you will get full access to the cartridges...
> move the cartridges to and fro for several times manually with your hand
> close the door
> plug the power chord
> try again to copy multiple pages

thanks and regards
