If this is a USB device and the driver has been installed, chances are it will work.
If you go to the Setup in the Flight SIM program and can select/configure the joystick, then it will definitely work.

My computer will not recognise FSx.

Some parts of FSX remain in the registry and some other files it uses are shared. The easy way to sort this is to get a good quality registry cleaner, and you will be away.

I had to reload flight simulator fsx and 5 time it went to the end and I received an error message! and did not complete. Can you help?

Each time you are installing FSX installation is leaving behind files. Get a good quality registry cleaning program. Uninstall FSX, reboot, use the reg cleaner, then reboot, then re-install and you will be okay

FSX = ****!

It sounds like a RAM issue. FSX needs a minimum of a dual core processor, a good quality graphics card (512Mb min) and 4Mb ram. The "not responding" is caused by the PC having to try to get a large amount of data into a small amount of ram, or the processor is struggling to cope.

Unable to find fsx in windows registery unable to complete flight deck5 setup

Have you searched the registry using CTRL + F and typing in FSX or Microsoft? This should find all entries. If not, then FSX is not installed properly and you need to uninstall FSX, reboot and re-install. Good luck with it.

I successfully installed fsx but cant find the file to play it

Okay. Go to the FSX directory - C:\Program files\Microsoft games\FSX and locate the FSX.exe icon. Using the nouse, right-click the icon, and keep the right mouse button down and drag the icon to the desktop, then release it and choose "create shortcut here" from the fly-out menu. That's it. Then it will add an icon on your desktop which you can use aas normal to play it. Enjoy

Microsoft fsx when reinstalling comes with an error 1722 followed by an error 1603

OK. This is what you need to do.
1. Uninstall FSX completely the reboot.
2. Press CTRL + F and type in the search box "FSX"
3 Each entry that comes up should be deleted from the registry. Press F3 to continue searching. When no more appear, reboot and re-install ensuring that FSX CD's are clean. If you are not confident clearing registry entries, get a reputable registry cleaning program, but use it after you have uninstalled FSX. Good luck

Problem with FSX Demo setup

You need to find the directory where it has installed, usually in C:\program files\Microsoft games\FSX and then locate the .exe file. Right-click the mouse over this icon, holding the right button down, drag the icaon onto the desktop, release the mouse button and when teh small menu appears choose "create shortcut here" option.

Then you can start the program using the new icon on your desktop. As for playing it, you need to read the manual as it would take too long here to explain it. Good luck
