Question about Kitchen Ranges

Open Question

Hello, I have a vt2500 vacu flush toilet in our motorhome, the pump has started cycling every 30 to 50 seconds to stay in a state of vacumn. I have replaced the orings on the dock and have just replaced the cap on the cassette. When the cassette is docked and at vacumn a slight sucking sound can be heard. I have removed the cassette from the dock an dstuck my thumb over the suction line on the dock. Depressing the micro switch with the other finger the pump fires for approx.5 of a second and shuts off. However when you remove the cassette, the sucking sound can still be heard, even thought thecap is new and tight.I even canded the top of the cassette opening so the lid oring has a better seal. can someone please help..? Cheers Damien

SOURCE: ovendoor not closing for tight seal...

You should feel the door pull closed when you as you lift it and get near the closed position.

There is some spring linkage associated with the hinge pins at the bottom sides of the oven.

I cannot find the oven you indicated, but I did find exploded views and parts list of the topic post oven on the SearsPartsDirect website.

SOURCE: toilet sounds like it is flushed or water filling up in the tank.

if the toilet has a 'flapper' is there slack in the chain connecting it to the flush arm? The flapper life is usually around 4 years or so - replace it if older.

Hello. Increase the amount of water that stays in the tank and you will automatically increase the amount of water in the bowl. Joe.

My saniflo has started to go slow- it now does small pumps - one every 30 seconds so takes 5 minutes to drain the bowl. I'm pretty sure no foreign objects have gone into it as it's only me and my wife...

Typically when solids don't leave the toilet after one flush or if it short cycles like is doing, then is definitely a pressure problem. Is the unit vented via an 1 1/2" vent pipe to the open air? Please disconnect the vent pipe and leave the vent connection open to the room, flush the toilet and check if it makes a difference. Air must flow in and out of the vent pipe at all times so it can work properly. An obstruction on the vent pipe can cause this issue. Also could be calcium build up inside the rim of the bowl. Pour a few cups of vinegar on the toilet tank and then flush the toilet, it should get rid of calcium right away.

Toto toilet, flapper doesn't stay up long enough to flush

One of two things is the problem. First, make sure that you have a tight chain with little slack. If there's too much slack, the flapper won't catch in the passing air to stay up. Second, the flapper is not correct for that style of toilet. You might want to look into purchasing a new Kolby filter that has a removeable cone in the center. Move that cone to 12 o'clock to allow the maximum amount of water to run through the flush valve. If the flapper you have now is flat, it needs to have a cone in the center on the underside.

Pumps for a few seconds then stops & pumps again for another few seconds & so on

The toilet will flush normally and shut down. Then imediately after it has shut down, as it should, it will start up again and keep going through the flush cycle until I unplug the power going to the pump. After about ten minutes, I can plug it back in and it then will not start up again until I press the flush button.

Valve in dometic vt2500 toilet won't close

You might want to try and lubricate the rubber gasket with some silicone grease or plumbers grease. If that doesn't work, follow this link. I'm sure there is information for your toilet at the Dometic website. http://www.dometic.com/enus/Americas/USA/Customer-Support/
