This is not an official solution from Primera by any means, but I find the easiest thing to do is change the drive yourself.
***Do This Only When Your Warranty Is Expired***
This will void out any active warranty but it also is a solution to the problem many of you might have.
Carefully open up the system and replace the burner with a new one. Burners go bad, its a known fact, whether its inside a robot or not. Several thousands of burns tend to lend heavy wear and tear on the system. If you are like me, you are probably making hundreds of copies at a time.
Since PTPublisher lets you use any drive on the system you know its not wired into the robot, :) Hope this helps someone as it helped me.

Thanks..piece of cake. A few things to know.
1. The entire robot mechanism does not have to be taken apart, but it has to be taken out in order to get to the screws that hold the drive.
2. Make sure you use the correct holes when installing the drive. If not the robot will not be in the center of the disk when it goes to pick it up.
3. I did it in less than an hour. Drive cost me 22 bucks.
