My Creative Zen V worked very well for a good 3 months, but I'm really upset because it doesn't show any signs of working again! All I remember doing is leaving it on my bed. I might have left it on, and that might be why it went dead, but the problem is, not even the usually blue lights are flashing. The computer doesn't recognize it, and the screen is completely black. There's no possibility of getting a refund I don't think, so I'm very upset.

- I don't have the option of turning it off...it won't turn on or off at all.
Check Creative's # to see if your are still in warranty
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off,hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

My wife's Creative Zen V Plus, 2GB has been working great for about one year and then I believe she overloaded it with songs. Now I can't get it out of ''Re-building Library'' mode. It get's hung-up after about 1/7th the way through. I have tried the reset, reset while pressing center play button, powering while pressing the center play button and then reset, etc. Also, the computer will not recognize the player. Any suggestions?
