Question about Bissell 1770 Quicksteamer II Upright Vacuum
Sounds like you could have a belt problem.
If you go to this URL http://www.bissell.com/assets/0/132/134/228/9367721b-1131-4a4c-b8fc-a7ceef5728e4.pdf go to about page 8 and review what is necessary to replace the drive belt. I suggest you replace the drive belt and at the same time clean as best you can the brush that it drives, you will have to remove the brush to change the belt. Remove all foreign debris and add some WD40 at each end of the brush between the brush and the plastic holders. Turn the plastic holders so they move freely around the brush and reassemble.
If you find this solution to be of help, I would appreciate a Thumbs Up rating from you. Regards, Paul
