I have purchased Emachine E627. My DVD drive does not read the disk. I have warrenty remaining with this product. What should I do?

Since your laptop is still covered by warranty, I would suggest that you take it to the nearest Emachines service center to troubleshoot & fix the problem with the DVD drive.

Bluray discs and DVD discs are encoded differently. Unfortunately you will need to get standard DVD and not bluray.

You have 2 options really...

1) You can purchase blank DVDs:

My Sony DVD RW AD-7200A cannot read or write since I purchased it. Another drive works but this second drive does not work. What is the solution?

Almost Every Computer Hardware comes with manufacturer warrenty for a limited period. If your DVD drive is not working since you purchased it, You can go to the shop where you purchased it, and get the working one under warrenty.

I Have an Emachine E627 Laptop and I'd like to use my webcam


I have an emachines e627 and it has a webcam, because there are different models of the emachines e627. Most likely you have an emachines e627-5583, that model has a webcam. If you are trying to use your webcam there is a program that is built in called just go to "C:\Windows\Video Web Camera.exe". I hope this works for you

Since you just purchased the emachine two days ago and already there is a problem, I would suggest that you either return the computer to where you purchased (most place have a 7-day return policy) or contact emachines. I suspect that the CD drive is faulty and should be replaced.

I have LG CD RW/DVD CD-ROM Combo Driver and my problem is that i can play CDs. When i insert DVD its showing blank or no DVD in the drive. How can I slove this?


It is your lense related issue.
You can clean your lense with disk cleaner disk purchase disk cleaner disk and put in dvd rom then play it.then it clean your lense.
But if still problem remains then your lense has issue.
So if your dvd rom in warrenty then take it to service center and replaced it .
It is is not in warrenty then you need to repair or replaced lense.

Dvd combo not detect dvd's


Your Lense has some issue.
You can clean your lense with disk cleaner disk.
Pur chase it from nearest shop it is called "Lense cleaner disk"
then put it into combo drive then play it then it clean your lense then check .
If still not access your dvd then if it is in warrenty go to service shop they replaced it.
And if it is not in warrenty then you should need to repair your lense or purchase new lense.

Need to format the hard drive for HP Pavilion Slimline s7520n, but I don't have the recovery disk. Any ideas on how to do it?


If you own the computer and it is still in warrenty then i would call up HP and explain the situation and have them send you a recovery disk, if it is not in warrenty they may still do it but if it doesnt work your other option is to purchase one or to Pirate one which wouldnt be illegal if you used the product key that came with your computer.

contact emachine on this problem your system comes with a 2 year warrenty from purchase. they can either mail you a restore disk or have you send them the system to be restored to factory settings.

you can find more info on warrenty on walmart.com as this is a walmart exclusive system.
