Question about Whirlpool Refrigerators
The water line in the door could contain an ice plug. Uncouple the water feed line from the dispenser tube at the union located at the bottom of the freezer door. Engage the water dispenser switch (on the door) and see if water flows from the feed line. If so, there is likely a blockage in the line leading to up through the door and to the nozzle. I fished a small HDPE tube up from the bottom of the door until it stopped (at blockage) and used a syringe to force hot water through the small inner tube. After about two syringes of hot water (~20 mL), the blockage was removed. Re-connect the feed line and the water should now flow from the dispenser.

Your water line could be frozen in the door. You can disconnect the line under the unit before it goes into the door at the bottom hinge. Push the dispenser button and see if it comes out there. If it does leave the door open till it thaws. Covering the opening with a blanket will prevent the loss of cold in the freezer. . GE makes a heater that will prevent this from happening again. The part number for this heater is WR49X10173.
disconnect the line to the water dispenser at the water inlet valve on the back where the water supply comes in and try the dispenser. if you hear the valve work but water doesn't come out, the valve is bad. If you don't hear the valve, the dispenser switch is bad
