Contact the manufacturer of the Hard Drive. This is possible, but they can best answer the question.

Mac OS X Computer crashed: how to restore from storejet 25P

Hi,

Hard drive recovery software is the exact answer for your question how to restore crashed hard drive Mac data. Some days back, due to software conflicts my Mac hard drive was crashed and I was unable to access my data stored in it. I was really tensed because the stored data was very much important to me. Then I searched over the internet and found this software which successfully restored all my lost data and I was very much happy after getting back my data. The software can be downloaded either from official website or by simply clicking here.

Good luck,

Fiona Dsouza

Data Recovery (possible) from faulty hard drives

DAMAGED HARD DRIVE - DATA RECOVERY

Data recovery from faulty hard drives is difficult and can be costly. There is no guarentee that you can recover data from a faulty hard drive.
If the hard drive makes a clicking noise the the hard drive is dead.

First thing to try, is to remove the damaged hard drive and connect it to an USB hard drive adapter and then plug this adapter into a working computer's USB port. If this computer sees this hard drive as an USB mass storage device (external hard drive) and you can open the various folders and files, then I would backup your data.
If the hard drive is not detected then the hard drive is dead and data cannot be retrieved with this method.

Retrieving data from damaged hard disk is possible. There are companies that can remove the disk platters from the damaged hard drive and with special equipment may be able to recover your data, but it will cost you an arm and a leg for their services. The reason for this high cost, they dismantle and remove the platters in the hard drive in a clean room environment and set up the platters up in jig/drive to retrieve/copy the data.

How can I recover my files after I drop my external hard drive?

First of all - STOP using your WD drive immediately! If you continue using the disk drive, you significantly increase the risk that the files you want to recover will be lost forever due to overwritten. Every new file or action will take up more "free space" and reduce your chances of retrieving your deleted files from WD. So really, you need to act quickly.

The next step - get a good HDD data recovery software to retrieve the data as most as possible.

Try this method

Install data recovery software on system/laptop

Scan the external drive for recovery options available

Save the data you want to recover

You can download a good data recovery software from http://www.windowsdatarecovery.com/

My hd crashed. how can i save the data?

You can try putting it in the freezer. Sounds crazy but it often works. One thing you need to be sure of is to copy your data off as fast as possible, so have another hard drive ready to copy to. It is not a permenant fix and your external HDD should not be used after you retrieve the data.

It is a simple, fast program which thorough scan the computer, which allows you to recover lost files
Do not use the machines to take more photos before you have recovered or is likely to override the old and losing it all ....
The program can also use it to retrieve other types of files such as music and video.
