Contact the manufacturer of the Hard Drive. This is possible, but they can best answer the question.

Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Mac OS X Computer crashed: how to restore from storejet 25P

Hi,

Hard drive recovery software is the exact answer for your question how to restore crashed hard drive Mac data. Some days back, due to software conflicts my Mac hard drive was crashed and I was unable to access my data stored in it. I was really tensed because the stored data was very much important to me. Then I searched over the internet and found this software which successfully restored all my lost data and I was very much happy after getting back my data. The software can be downloaded either from official website or by simply clicking here.

Good luck,

Fiona Dsouza

My computer drive crashed. How can I retrieve the data?

If the operating system program was all that crashed, then yes, you may be able to recover data. If the hard drive itself failed totally, then your only possible option is to take it to a data recovery specialist. They can often recover data off these devices as they have special tools and software to do it. They are expensive, though, so unless the data you are looking to recover is very important to you, it;s probably not worth the cost. Now if the hard rive itself still runs, but just won't run Windows, you can remove the hard drive and connect to to another PC as an add-on drive and access the files that way.

Retrieving data from dead hard drive

Retrieving data fromdamaged hard disk is possible. There are companies that can remove the diskplatters from the damaged hard drive and with special equipment may beable to recover your data, but it will cost you an arm and a leg for theirservices. The reason for this high cost, they dismantle and remove the plattersin the hard drive in a clean room environment and set up the platters up injig/drive to retrieve/copy the data. First thing I would try isto remove the damaged hard drive and connect it to an USB hard drive adapterand then plug this adapter into a working computer's USB port. If thiscomputer sees this hard drive as an external hard drive and you can open thevarious folders and files, then I would backup your data. If the hard drive is notdetected then the hard drive is dead and data cannot be retrieved with thismethod.

Undelete/unformat a Mac formatted external hard drive.

The theory to unformat a Mac hard disk is, when you format a Mac HFS+/HFSX Volume or format a external hard disk, the data are not really wiped. Format process just marked your Mac hard disk as available to reuse, no matter it is quick format or complete format. So if you put if you fill in a mount of new data to your hard drive, then the formatted data are overwritten, your will permanently lose your formatted data.

Follow this guide to unformat your mac hard drive or formatted external hard drive on mac.
