hi, please don't be alarmed, this happens most times when your network signal is down or when the facebook servers are overloaded. either way, it doesn't last. you'll be available soon and able to chat with your friends. hope this helps

Are you sure your friend doesnt have any connection problems at home? Or try and change your account from sub-account to master account to invite friends to play online on ps3.
Here i want the clarrification about this while opening the messager don't open your Netmeeting or VNC (or this type of services) because me also faced the same problem and don't allow any outer person
