Hi,
I would love to give specific advise for your dryer but you have not included a model number or type gas or electric...

here is the answer that I give for all the freebies that gives tips that answer your question for both the gas and the electric dryers...

If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heating the most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glows sometimes it is still not working properly.

if you dryer is gas check out this gas no heat tip....

If you have an electric dryer, you can have many different things that can go wrong causing the dryer not to heat.

check out this electric no heat tip...

ELECTRIC DRYER WON'T HEAT, TURNS ON , BUT WON'T HEAT.

Hi,

If your dryer runs but doesn't heat, verify that all breakers (or fuses) are fine. If one is blown, the dryer may still operate but not heat.
Another common cause of a dryer failing to heat (or only partially heat) is a faulty element. You will need to replace it.

Good luck and have a nice day.
Rating the solution is highly appreciated.

Tumbler spins, heat won't go on, timer won't work

It is your operating thermostat. It controls the heat and runs the timer down.

I just moved and my LG dryer does not heat up.

Your ignitor (glow bar) got broken during the move. They are more fragile than your grandmother's fine china

Not heating

Check the exhaust vent and make sure it is completely cleared out.
