SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: i have mp4 philips GoGear

philips support page

This worked for my Opus player supposed to work for all Opus players.
Tip: if the Device manager asks you to update first, dont, close the dialog and Choose 'Repair' tab. Follow the instructions from there.
You need to connect the player whilst holding the "+" volume key to enter the repair mode

Here is a link where you find the user manual of your device:

http://download.p4c.philips.com/files/s/sa5295_02/sa5295_02_dfu_eng.pdf

Read it's content in the page 44. I think it is necessary to update of your player and I hope you can repair it this way.
Good luck!

Whenever I go to turn on my Philips Gogear audio video mp3 player, it shows the welcome screen but it doesn't go to the GoGear or the updating screens. Also, whenever I plug it into my computer through the USB cord, the charging screen doesn't show and it does not show that it is connected on 'My Computer'

Gogear 8gb

The HDD1830 is not Mac compatible. The database file has probably been deleted or corrupted. The player doesn't scan the hard disk on start-up, it only read the database file. Anything it doesn't read from the database file is ignored.

You will need to restore the player with the Philips Device Manager, and re-load your tracks.

Philips go gear 6gb not connected.

Make sure you back up all songs on the GoGear before attempting this solution.

1) Back up all files on the GoGear
2) Open up Philips Device Manager (Start --> All Programs --> Philips)
3) Click on the Repair Tab, and look for a msg that says connect the player while holding the volume + button
4) Disconnect the GoGear from the computer and turn the GoGear off - hold in the volume + button and continue to hold it as you reconnect the GoGear to the computer; after holding the volume + button for up to 20 or 30 seconds, a window will open up saying that your device is being repaired (now you can let go of the volume + button); after the repair is successfully complete, your GoGear will be good as new

Now you can do the firmware upgrade that will prevent this problem from occuring in the future. Open up Philips Device Manager and click the Update tab. This problem was caused because most GoGear's were designed for Windows XP with Media Player 10 (which is no longer the latest standard).
