Privacy way too clean already. Go to a truckstop and get some test grit on your privacy first.

Could I get the site of a "cleaner" program? I had one on my old computer but not on this one.

I recommend the free CCleaner. You can download the latest version at Filehippo. Note: If you have any of the following programs, uncheck them on the Cleaner Applications tab: Superantispyware, Malwarebytes, Windows Defender, MS Management Console, MS Search.
Do the following, once every 3 months, on each Account...
1. Start CCleaner.
2. Cleaner - Click "Analyze", then, once the progress bar is 100%, click "Run Cleaner"
3. Registry - Click "Scan for Issues", then, once the progress bar is 100%, click "Fix selected issues" (Yes, Save, Fix All Selected Issues, OK, Close) - (Repeat step 3. until no more issues are found)

Cannot uninstall cyberlink software from my computer the software is from the media now burning suite for dvd/cd burning. it is screwing up vista 64bit on my hp desk top

You can try CC cleaner. I use it all the time.
Run cleaner then registry cleaner, then click tools uninstall and this should work.
If you have tried to uninstall the errors may come from regitry entries left behind.

My speakers have static when i turn them up and sound is unequal!

This is a symptom of a bad connection or dust in the volume control. Purchase a can of Electrical Cleaner. remove the volume control knob and spray the control. Remove the connections at the computer and spray both the male and female connections with the computer turned off. This should solve your problem. If it does not remove the connections and clean the ends with a pencil eraser and then spray this off with the electrical cleaner. Be sure and only use electrical cleaner and do not use a product such as WD40. After cleaning connections at the computer wait about 15 minutes before turning the PC back on. The cleaner will evaporate by then. If this does not help try another set of speakers.

There is some problem in starting window media player

First try downloading a registry cleaner like "C-Cleaner", "Advanced windows cleaner" or the like and run them, the registry might be colliding with something when you open WMP. Just google them and type free download, they're not very big.

If that doesn't solve the problem, you'll need to re-install WMP, yopu should be able to download it aswell. Just make sure to remove the entire old version of WMP, C-Cleaner has a utility that can do that for you. Hope it helps! Good luck!

Windows will not open any files, also have a registry cleaner message stuck

do a restart. what registry cleaner are you using. if you bought it, it was a waste of money. they do little to no good and often cause more problems then they solve.

if you need a registry cleaner (99% of people don't), use ccleaner, use only the scan and the issues functions (top two).

I can't defrag and DLL initialization failed message.

Run a free Registry scan will fixed DLL problem.
So, download a free registry cleaner and install the software. The free registry cleaner software automatically scans the registry, cleans it up, backs up the data for you to restore if you encounter any problem after you have cleaned the registry. The registry cleaner can also configure a startup organizer and remove embedded keys that are used by malware like Trojan, virus, dialers and so on. Registry cleaner software also eliminates the free spaces within the registry and traces of programs that are never completely uninstalled. In short registry cleaners are truly effective tool for safe and faster computing. So get it now!

Windows help and support has stopped working

I have seen this happen when a customer has spyware or a virus.

Download adaware (free product), Spybot (another free product) and C-Cleaner (again this also is a free product)

Run C-Cleaner first, then adaware (run it over and over again till it does not find any more), then run spybot, run it over and over again till it can't find anymore. THEN run c-cleaner again (and run it till it does not find anymore) - Then run c-cleaners registry cleaner (fix all problems do not back up registry) till it finds no more problems.

If this does not fix the problem - write back and we will go from there.

A message on my screen (which will not go away) advises me that my computer is in danger of a virus and that privacy information is in danger. This message is from PCPrivacy. They want to charge $39.99...

Do not panic, this could be an infection... Turn off your Comp.
Boot up to the safemode with Networking, Try if you could Run Updates to the Maccafee..
then scan your Computer From Normal mode...
Remove all the infections.
Your computer should do just fine.
