Question about Philips GoGear HDD1830 MP3 Player
When I try to listen to music on my Philips Go Gear HDD1630/17, nothing shows up, but there is 5.7 gb of space used up, and it wont let me repair it either... what do i do?
when i connect it to the computer, it shows up, and i try to repair it, it partially goes through, then says "player either disconnected from computer, or another program trying to access gogear", but it is not disconnected, and no other programs are running...
i know product says hdd1830, but my product did not show up, and my product is HDD1630/17
Uninstall your Windows Media Player 11, and rollback to Windows Media Player 10 first. instructions at microsoft.com or www.usasupport.philips.com.
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
