First of all, just unplug the unit from the main power outlet for 10 mins and plug it in again and ON the unit and check whether the unit resets by itself.

Most of the error clear just by power resetting.
If the problem still exists then yes you will have to replace the control circuit. the control panel circuit can be removed easily by opening the screws beside the control panels and flipping it out from its plastic locks, then accordingly as per your model and brand. you can order the part from link below:--
