If it's a cd-rw you can erase it and re-write on it. If its a cd-r or an audio cd bought from the store you can't erase it.

KDC-148 in demo mode. None of the buttons on the faceplate will respond. Just stopped playing while I was driving one night. Any ideas. Already tried reset.

A quick trick on the faceplate connectors is to use the eraser of a lead pencil to clean the surface of the faceplate connectors. It could simply be a dirty connection.

Hi viveksingh,

If you can remove your graphic card to your PC, clean the gold plated conductor fins of the card using pencil eraser.
Afterwards, place it again carefully to the slot.
Reboot your PC and see if it has display already.
If not, it seems like you need to replace your existing graphic card with new.

Hope this helps you a lot.

Thank you for using FixYa!

How format 8GB pendrive because file protected

  1. ? to open Computer Management. getcontent.aspx?assetid=18abb370-ac1e-4b6b-b663-e028a75bf05b&documentset=en-us&prod=win700&market=us If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
  2. In the left pane, under Storage, click Disk Management.
  3. Right-click the volume that you want to format, and then click Format.
  4. To format the volume with the default settings, in the Format dialog box, click OK, and then click OK again.
    • You cannot format a disk or partition that is currently in use, including the partition that contains Windows.
    • The Perform a quick format option will create a new file table, but will not fully overwrite or erase the volume. A quick format is much faster than a normal format, which fully erases any existing data on the volume.

I just erased my WD 1.0TB HDD and now I cannot back up

Have you already formatted the drive?

Try to format the drive first. If you are using Windows, just right click My Computer, click Manage and then hit Disk Management. Locate your WD drive and then right click on it, hit Format. DO not forget to check QUICK FORMAT.

Tell me how it goes.

Ipod 1gb nano

When you plug it in to your computer, you should see an option in iTunes to synchronize it with your current library. Press "Yes" and the existing music will be erased.
You should be able to turn it off by holding down the "Play" button and turn it on by pressing the "Play" button.
If this fails, you can restart the device by holding the "Menu" and "Select" buttons for 6-10 seconds until it restarts.

I can't erase the existing programming

I thought I had same problem or that black bars would not erase. It turned out that the switch is sent with a clear decal over the LCD display that makes it look like its on while in the display packaging. I peeled away the decal and everything worked ok.

I pod touch while sincing new data, old is getting erased

Hi, I think you are using Itunes to Sync your IPOD-T.

If u r using Itunes Then u shouldn't delete any thing from ur ITUNES... Because, Sync is a option which will check the contents of your ipod and Itunes... If u erase anything from your itunes, then it will erase the same in ur IPod as well.... So U shouldn't delete anything from ur itunes....

Other option would be Manual Sync option... Where u have to drag and drop the contents from ur Itunes. Everytime....

Let me know, whether u want to manually add contents to ur ipod. so tat i can send u the settings?

Normal 0 Start Skype then Go to "TOOLS", click on "OPTIONS," Then go to "Audio Settings" and click on it. Make sure both the Microphone and Speaker's are correctly chosen. Then "make a free test call." Wait till the voice tells you to record. Then when finished talking wait for the test persons voice to insure your audio transmission is working. Then go back to options and test your video settings. Click on Video Settings and proceed to set up you video camera. Also, you can visit this site for additional information to setup video.
Hope this helps. Bud
