Question about Sharp 32C-240 32" TV
My Sharp 32C231 was struck by lightning. There was no burning smell.
There is no response what-so-ever when the power button is pressed. I was in another room when it happened, so I do not know for sure if there was a sound or not.
I have a Sharp 32C231 t.v. went to turn it on and went out. It came on for a second and then went black and there was a burning smell . Is it fixable or trash?

Looks like the flyback (high voltage transformer and probably the majority of the power board is kaput. It would be cheaper and probably worth your while to invest in a new TV rather than try to fix this one..
