It will not hurt to pour some lightweight shredder oil onto the cutting shafts....depending on how much you use the machine this should almost be part of a regular operation... I normally suggest to customers to pour the shredder oil onto a sheet of paper in an "S" pattern and then shred the sheet of paper....also shredders will work more reliably if you only shred about 70% of the rated capacity...less strain on the motor and parts and this results in fewer jams and longer machine life.

If your speaking of hydrostatic drive, not clutch type, after a lot of use this "sound"becomes a normality. The drive motor(hydraulic)is worn.Mine does the same thing,on all thre of my mowers.I don't concern myself with it.Even my drive motors on my Toyota skidsteer make that same noise. But I know they're ok.Just keep changing the filter on the hydraulics every 100 hours or less.If it doesn't bother operation, just you, then i don't believe anything is really bad wrong. As time goes on,with use, things wear.BUT,they're finding there position is all.Their worn into place. You rarely use reverse, thats why it don't make noise in reverse. But if it bothers you that bad, replace the drive motor everytime it starts making that noise,or replace the mower.

I have a 99 Ford Superduty 7.3 Diesel. It is making a really bad grinding/screeching sound just after it starts and is warming up. It wouldn't ******* off all the way even after the key was turned

indicates that the starter motor is stuck in the ring gear
possibly faulty starter relay or starter solenoid
pull the starter as the pinion over ride clutch is probably damaged ( noise ) and have the start circuit and relay checked
have the starter bench tested for serviceability by an accredited auto electrician

Makes a really loud buzzing noise during operation

Unit uses a Magnetron and likely a power board called an inverter to run it. Someone would have to open the unit in a way where they might pinpoint where the sound is coming from and then take action--does not of course sound normal or good to me.

ASUS Lap top computer, 2 months old' makes loud fan type noises at each start up.

Hi

Its normal for a laptop computer or a desktop computer to spin its fans at maximum speed during start up - its part of the power on self test.

If the fan is very loud like on this video the sound is very bad -

that would be a bad fan, constant bad noise. but if your fan only makes noise in start up, its normal.

your warranty should cover the replacement of the fan if its bad.
